Two nights the file supports
The venue publishes no doors time and no session clock. Its calendar gives an all-day span of 00:00 to 23:59 on 9 January.
Arrival days come from the organiser’s fee schedule. It applies a $125 late fee on the tenth day before the event, and a second $125 for a team that pays on the Friday or the Saturday.
The tenth day before 9 January 2027 is Wednesday, 30 December 2026. The Friday and the Saturday in the organiser’s wording are 8 and 9 January.
Friday the 8th and Saturday the 9th are the two nights the published file supports. Sunday the 10th is the departure.
Two arrival populations at one desk

The Sunday checkout block
Departures cluster on Sunday, 10 January. The venue’s calendar closes the Saturday at 23:59, which puts a same-night exit inside the building’s lock-down window.
The Center states a lock-down rule of thumb of approximately 11:00 p.m. and a reopening at approximately 6:00 a.m. The window between the two published times is seven hours.
A Saturday-night stay is the second of the two nights. A same-day exit on Saturday takes that room night off the books.
The calendar around the date
The venue calendar places NCNMO Platform 26 at a 2,000 forecast on 24 to 28 December 2026. It places the Youth Rally and Mass Service at 1,500 on 20 January 2027.
The calendar lists no Center event between 28 December and 9 January. That is 12 days of open building ahead of the competition and 11 days from it to the next Center booking.
The fortnight after is the tight stretch. The same calendar carries the 2027 Central Zone Invitational at a 20,000 forecast for 23 to 24 January and Dot Foods at 2,000 on 27 to 29 January.
A second event shares the Saturday. The calendar carries the Whitetail Film Tour at 300 in Wabash Ballroom 1-2 on 9 January, so the building runs two groups that day.
The supply line three weeks out
The Signia by Hilton Indianapolis opens its reservation book for stays beginning 1 February 2027. That is 23 days after this event, so the new inventory is not online for the January dates.
The venue’s news item gives the hotel 800 rooms, seven dining experiences and a wellness and fitness center. The venue’s expansion page gives it 803 rooms.
Staffing the desk
The venue’s Facility Guide sets its own staffing threshold. Medical personnel are required when 2,000 or more attendees are anticipated, which puts the 450 forecast at 22.5 percent of that figure.
First aid facilities at the Center are serviced by IU Health Services and arranged through the Event Coordinator.
The hall is large for the crowd. Exhibit Hall A holds 4,300 theatre-style seats, 2,370 banquet seats and 211 ten-foot booths across 44,400 square feet, and 450 attendees fill 10.5 percent of the theatre figure.
The desk work is the arrival spread. A Friday evening wave, a Saturday morning queue and a Sunday departure block sit inside one weekend, and the organiser’s file holds a single competition day inside it.
