Three nights and a Saturday check-out
The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association holds its 2026 annual convention at the Indiana Convention Center from November 19 to 21. The venue's event page carries a forecast of 13,500 attendees. ASHA publishes Wednesday, November 18 as a pre-convention day, which adds an arrival shoulder ahead of the Thursday open.

The Wednesday shoulder starts at 8 a.m.
Board, Committee and Council Meetings fill 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Registration runs 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. State Association Pre-Convention Workshops run 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on a ticket. The First Timers' Tour runs 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Two receptions open the evening. The student First Timers' Reception runs 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and the professionals' reception runs 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Receptions and special events run 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The Researcher-Academic Town Meeting runs 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The shuttle carries one published window. ASHA states complimentary shuttle service on November 19 to 21 for attendees at ASHA hotels outside walking distance of the convention center. A Wednesday arrival at one of those properties has no published Wednesday shuttle.
Thursday opens on a 7 a.m. registration desk
Registration runs 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Opening General Session runs 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in Halls B and C. ASHA President Linda I. Rosa-Lugo opens the session. Brian Ceci, a Canadian Hard of Hearing cinematographer, delivers the keynote.
The exhibit hall opens at 10:00 a.m. and closes at 6:00 p.m. Education sessions run 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The Heard Screening runs 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Receptions and special events run 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Badges print on site. ASHA states that 2026 badges will not be mailed in advance, that self-service printing stations sit at the convention center, and that attendance is verified once a badge prints with no further scanning during the event.
The block publishes 27 properties and 15 price points
ASHA's official hotel rate list is a two-page PDF stamped As of 9/10/26. It carries 27 properties. Single-occupancy rates run from $169 at the Holiday Inn Indianapolis Downtown and the Tru by Hilton Indianapolis Downtown to $300 at the Conrad Indianapolis. The median is $228. The spread is $131, or 77.5 percent of the lowest rate.
Fifteen values cover the 27 listings. The $189 figure appears five times, and $179 and $259 appear three times each.
Every rate is per night and excludes taxes. Every rate includes complimentary basic internet access. ASHA states that Maritz Global Events is the only official housing provider, that these rates are available only through its housing service, and that reservations carry no change fees and no prepayment.
The organiser's hotel map marks six of the properties for shuttle service. The Holiday Inn Express Indianapolis Downtown, the Holiday Inn Indianapolis Downtown, the Staybridge Suites City Centre, the Tru by Hilton Indianapolis Downtown, the TownePlace Suites Indianapolis Downtown and The Alexander make up that group. Those six average $192.33 on the single rate. The other 21 average $239.05.
One rate holds across three nights
The three-night stay covers two weeknights and one weekend night. The block publishes one figure per property for each occupancy type, so the Friday night carries the same rate as the Wednesday and Thursday nights at every listing. The rate sheet publishes no weekend step and no date-based split.
Saturday closes registration at 1:30 p.m. and sessions at 4 p.m.
Saturday 21 November is the departure day. Registration runs 7:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The exhibit hall runs 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Education sessions and the Research Symposium run 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The published programme therefore runs 2.5 hours past the registration and exhibit-hall close. Check-out times sit with each property.
The calendar around the block
The venue's event calendar places the Percussive Arts Society International Convention on November 11 to 14 with a 5,200 forecast, and the Midwest Healthcare Engineering Conference and Trade Show on November 8 to 10 with a 600 forecast. No convention center booking falls between November 15 and November 18. The next booking after ASHA is the Economic Club of Indiana Luncheon on December 2 with a 300 forecast.
The block carries a 13,500 forecast across 27 properties, which works out to 500 per property. Downtown Indianapolis holds 7,100 hotel rooms, and the venue footer counts 4,700 of them as connected to the center by skywalk. The forecast equals 190.1 percent of the downtown room count.
