The 24th annual Oregon Business Plan Leadership Summit runs Monday, December 7, 2026, in the Portland Ballroom at the Oregon Convention Center. The on-site desk opens at 7:30 a.m. in the Portland Ballroom Lobby. The plenary starts at 8:30 a.m. Two rounds of breakout sessions run from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the D and E meeting rooms. The summit closes at 4:00 p.m., and the reception runs to 6:00 p.m. in the D and E meeting room foyer.
That clock sets the booking. The guest needs the room for the night of Sunday, December 6, and holds it through 6:00 p.m. on Monday, December 7.
Sunday carries the arrival
The registration desk opens at 7:30 a.m. A delegate who flies in on Monday morning reaches the lobby after the plenary has started. Sunday night puts the guest in the district for the opening hour.
Quote Sunday, December 6 as the arrival night. Price it against the Saturday rate the market carries. The summit fills Monday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Hall D empties on the same morning
The convention center calendar lists The American Northwest - Portland - Nationals - DI/DII in Hall D on December 5 and 6. Those teams leave Portland on Sunday, December 6.
Two flows meet on one date. Departures clear rooms in the late morning. Summit arrivals want those rooms in the afternoon.
Hold the block through Sunday. A Friday release gives away the rooms the summit fills on Sunday afternoon.
Price Monday as a day of occupancy
An 11 a.m. checkout covers the plenary and ends the stay before the afternoon breakouts. Sell one of two products for the Monday. A late checkout to a published hour, or a day-use slot with a fixed exit time.
Write the exit hour into the confirmation. A guest who leaves a bag at the desk needs a pickup clock in the same document.
The building rents short-term lockers through LocketGo at three points: the MLK Lobby, the Holladay Lobby and the Ginkoberry Concourse. The guest reserves a locker on a mobile device with a credit card.
Breakfast runs before the registration desk
Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. A breakfast service from 7:00 a.m. gives the guest 30 minutes and one plate. Set the service hour against the desk and quote it at check-in.
The venue publishes a daily roster of its food outlets. The roster for Sunday, November 8, 2026 lists six open outlets, including Portland Coffee Roasters in Pre-Function C from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Read the roster for December 7 before promising coffee inside the building at 7:15 a.m.
The mobility scooter has a reservation clock
The venue lends wheelchairs and mobility scooters at no charge from the welcome desk in the MLK Lobby. A guest who needs one on Monday reserves it at 503-731-7800. Reservations open within 30 days of the event and require an estimated arrival time. A multi-day event takes a separate reservation for each day.
Two rules govern the reservation. The venue releases it when the guest does not collect within one hour of the booked time. The guest shows photo identification at the welcome desk. Unreserved chairs and scooters go on a first-come basis.
Four questions at 7 a.m.
A guest heading to the summit asks where the Portland Ballroom Lobby sits, when the garage opens, whether the desk will hold a bag until 6 p.m. and whether the building takes cash.
The registration location is the Portland Ballroom Lobby, and the main entrance is the MLK Lobby at 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. The garage opens at 6:00 a.m. and holds 800 spaces. Entry costs $15 for up to 18 hours with no in-and-out privileges, and event days carry a dynamic $15 to $25 rate at the booth. Overnight parking is prohibited. P1 clears seven feet and P2 clears nine feet.
The bag answer belongs in the confirmation. The building takes cards and touchless payment only, and a reverse ATM in the MLK Lobby loads cash onto a card once at no fee.
The 30-day lost-property window
The venue tags, catalogs and stores lost items for 30 days, then donates what remains. The welcome concierge takes a report at 503-731-7800 and asks for a description. A delegate who leaves a coat in the D and E meeting rooms on Monday has one number and 30 days.
Two desks, two kinds of question
The venue guest experience desk answers building questions. Evelyn Murphy is Director of Guest Experience at 503-731-7914. The organisers answer registration questions at support@oregonleadershipsummit.org.
