The weekend in room nights
The American Northwest - Portland - Nationals DI/DII runs 5 and 6 December 2026 at the Oregon Convention Center, 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. The venue's event page prints doors at 8:00 a.m. on both mornings. Its structured event record dates the meet from 8:00 a.m. on 5 December to 8:00 p.m. on 6 December.
A family that drives in for the Saturday door books Friday 4 December and Saturday 5 December. Checkout falls on Sunday 6 December, which is day two of the competition. Two room nights cover the weekend.
The venue page carries no attendance forecast. A property sizes its pickup from registration.
Two weekday labels to correct at the desk
The venue page prints "Sunday, December 5" and "Monday, December 6" against the two door times. 5 December 2026 is a Saturday and 6 December is a Sunday.
The dates hold. The weekday words do not. A desk that keys the booking off the weekday label takes Thursday and Friday nights, and the guest arrives without a bed for the Saturday.
Parking that ends each day
The garage holds 800 spaces and generally opens at 6:00 a.m. The standard entry rate is $15 for up to 18 hours, with no in-and-out privileges. Events carry a dynamic rate of $15 to $25 at entry. Overnight parking is prohibited.
Two days in the garage cost $30 to $50. Clearance is 7 feet on level P1 and 9 feet on level P2. Entry collects by card or touchless payment at the drive-through booths. Spaces run first come, first served, and the garage reaches capacity on a busy event day.
The overnight rule moves the car each evening. A guest who parks at the venue pays an entry on both mornings.
Breakfast ahead of an 8 a.m. door
The venue's Eat Now page lists outlet hours by date. On the 7 November read the earliest opening was Portland Coffee Roasters in Pre-Function C at 7:30 a.m., closing at 2:00 p.m. Orbit Marketplace in Pre-Function A and Exhibit Hall A opened at 8:30 a.m. Stir Bistro and Lounge in the MLK Lobby opened at 9:30 a.m. and closed at 1:00 p.m.
The selector covers about a week of dates. Hours for 5 and 6 December are unpublished. A guest who wants breakfast before 8 a.m. eats at the hotel.
The drive in
The convention center sits eight miles from Portland International Airport. TriMet MAX stops near the front door, and the Portland Streetcar's A Loop calls at NE MLK and Hoyt every 15 minutes.
What to quote at the desk
Quote two nights, Friday 4 December and Saturday 5 December, with checkout on Sunday 6 December. Add garage entry of $15 to $25 a day for a guest who parks at the venue. Add breakfast from the hotel's own outlet.
Two notes belong in the folio. The venue runs cashless across food, beverage and parking. The garage holds no car overnight.
