World of Hyatt opens registration for 1.5 Aeroplan points a dollar
World of Hyatt has opened registration for a promotion that pays 1.5 Aeroplan points for every eligible US dollar spent on stays at participating Hyatt hotels and resorts worldwide. The Aeroplan points arrive alongside the World of Hyatt Base Points the same stay earns.
Registration runs from 14 October 2026 to 11 November 2026. The promotion period runs from 14 October 2026 to 14 February 2027. Every stay has to be completed inside that window.

The conditions on the earning
Four conditions attach. The member holds World of Hyatt membership and Aeroplan membership, with the two accounts linked. The member elects to earn World of Hyatt points or Aeroplan points in place of World of Hyatt points for the stay. Only the room the member occupies counts toward the promotion. The member gives a World of Hyatt membership number at the time of booking or at the property before check out.
An election to earn another partner programme's points in place of World of Hyatt points puts the stay outside the promotion. Bonus Aeroplan points can take up to eight weeks after the stay to post.
The earning window and the base rate
The bonus begins with the first stay the member completes after registration. The base earning stays as published: five World of Hyatt Base Points per eligible US dollar at most participating hotels, and two and a half Base Points at Hyatt Studios.
Frequent Miler worked an example on 14 October 2026. A stay carrying USD 500 before taxes and fees earns 750 Aeroplan points. The same report notes that earning on the account resets the expiry clock on Aeroplan points the member already holds.
What the front desk carries
Two steps sit at the property. The member's World of Hyatt number has to be on the booking or given before check out. The stay has to carry a qualifying election.
The property posts nothing itself. The bonus points arrive through the member's loyalty accounts.
The dates a seller books against
Registration closes on 11 November 2026. Stays have to be completed by 14 February 2027. A guest who registers in November still earns on stays completed by 14 February 2027.
