Hilton Honors opened registration for its Q4 2026 promotion, More Points to Play. A registered member earns 3,000 bonus points per stay at luxury, lifestyle, resort and all-inclusive properties and 1,000 bonus points per stay at every other Hilton property. Stays must complete between 15 October and 31 December 2026.
Traveling for Miles values Hilton Honors points at 0.4 cents each. At that rate the top tier pays USD 12 a stay and the standard tier pays USD 4. A four-night stay at the standard tier returns about USD 1 a night. A seven-night stay at a listed property returns about USD 1.71 a night.
The stay definition does the work
Hilton defines a stay as the total number of consecutive nights spent at the same hotel, whether or not a guest checks out and checks back in again. A five-night booking at one property earns the same 3,000 points as a one-night booking there. Hilton sets no limit on the total bonus points a member earns during the promotion period.
Registration before check-out
Only members registered before check-out receive the bonus. A member who registers after checking out of a qualifying stay earns nothing for that stay. The requirement reaches existing bookings as well as new ones.
A stay that begins before 15 October still earns, provided it completes on or after 15 October and on or before 31 December 2026. A stay that checks out after 31 December 2026 earns nothing through the promotion. Reward stays earn the bonus, and all Hilton brands take part.
The bonus points and elite tier
Bonus points do not count toward elite tier qualification. A member working toward a tier gains no progress from the promotion. Points post six to eight weeks after the stay completes.
Two eligibility lists in print
The key terms read "3,000 Bonus Points on Luxury, Lifestyle, and Resort stays". Hilton's marketing material names all-inclusive properties in the same tier. Hilton publishes the eligible property list, so check a property against that list before quoting the 3,000-point tier.
What the front desk is asked
Two questions reach the desk in this promotion. The first is whether a booked stay earns the higher tier, and the eligible property list settles it. The second is whether a late registration still pays, and the check-out rule settles that one against the guest.
