The offer and its window
Hilton Honors has opened registration for More Points to Play, a stay promotion that runs to the end of 2026. A registered member earns 1,000 bonus points per stay at most Hilton properties and 3,000 bonus points per stay at the properties on the promotion's eligible list. Stays must be completed between 15 October and 31 December 2026.
The promotion pays per stay. One night and five nights at the same property collect the same bonus, and the bonus does not move with folio spend. Hilton sets no cap on the total a member collects across the window, and the terms state that reward stays earn the bonus as well.
Registration decides payment. A member who registers after check-out collects nothing for that stay, and the rule reaches bookings already on the calendar. Bonus points post six to eight weeks after the stay.
One list, three published counts
LoyaltyLobby's report of 18 September 2026 puts the higher tier at "the following 803 hotels". Two other documents carry larger figures.
The portable document format file the same article attaches holds 1,560 entries across eight pages. Six of them are expedition ships, EXPLORA I through EXPLORA VI, filed under a block headed At Sea / Expedition Cruises. The remaining 1,554 entries are hotels and resorts.
Hilton's eligible-properties page lists 1,574 entries above the heading Luxury, Lifestyle, Resort Properties. The entries run from 100 Queen's Gate Hotel London Kensington, Curio Collection by Hilton to Zi Yun Xuan Qing Resort and Spa. The same six ships sit inside that list, so the page carries 1,568 hotels. The two lists differ by 14 hotels.
The 803 figure reconciles with a second line in the same article, which applies the 1,000-point rate to stays at "90% of Hilton hotels". That line and the 803 describe one split of a portfolio the article puts at roughly 9,400 properties. The counts on the two lists do not carry that split.
Where the properties sit
The attached list sorts its 1,554 entries into 111 countries and territories, grouped by region. The United States holds 584 entries, 37.6 percent of the list. Italy holds 90, China 81, the United Kingdom 59, Greece 54, France 50, Spain 43, Mexico 41 and Japan 34. Portugal carries 29, Thailand 28 and Turkey 22. Twenty-eight of the country blocks hold a single property.
Independently named hotels fill much of the list. Curio Collection by Hilton accounts for 207 entries and Tapestry Collection by Hilton for 210, a combined 417 properties and 26.8 percent of the 1,554. Each trades under its own name and takes a Hilton soft brand alongside it. A further 829 entries carry the word Hilton in the property name.
Inside each country block the list sorts alphabetically. It carries no filter, no map and no grouping by brand, so a member holding a booking finds the property by name.
What the points are worth
LoyaltyLobby's John Ollila values Hilton Honors points at 0.2 to 0.4 US cents each for everyday awards. On that basis the 1,000-point tier is USD 2 to USD 4 a stay and the 3,000-point tier tops out at USD 12. He calls the offer "a really bad bonus points offer" and cites three or four rounds of points devaluation over the past 24 months. That is the publisher's valuation, and Hilton publishes no cash value for the promotion.
What a member checks first
Check the property against the eligible-properties page before counting on the 3,000-point tier. The three published counts of that tier differ, and the two larger ones include six expedition ships.
