Wyndham Rewards Pays Double United Miles on Point Transfers

Wyndham Rewards pays 1 United mile for every 2.5 points while an unadvertised bonus runs, and the programme publishes no end date and no terms.

The bonus and the ratio it replaces

Wyndham Rewards is paying a 100 percent bonus on points converted into United MileagePlus miles. AwardWallet published the offer on 13 October 2026 and read the rate inside a signed-in Wyndham Rewards account. The bonus lifts the conversion to 1 United mile for every 2.5 Wyndham points, in place of the programme’s standard 5:1 ratio.

Frequent Miler reported the same move on 8 October 2026 and puts the transfer ratio at 5:2. AwardWallet’s reading came from the transfer ratio shown in the signed-in account.

The three transfer amounts

AwardWallet lists three transfer amounts, and each clears at 1 mile for 2.5 points. A transfer of 6,000 Wyndham Rewards points produces 2,400 United MileagePlus miles. A transfer of 16,000 points produces 6,400 miles. A transfer of 30,000 points produces 12,000 miles.

The 30,000-point amount is the figure AwardWallet leads with. Frequent Miler names 6,000 points as the increment and lists the same 6,000 to 2,400 conversion.

No banner, no end date, no terms

AwardWallet states that Wyndham has published no end date and no promotion-specific terms, and that this edition of the bonus carries no banner. It read the rate in the transfer ratio shown when a member signs in and begins a conversion to United, and it advises a member to confirm the rate in the account before transferring.

Frequent Miler records the expiry as unknown, and states that a member has to log in and begin a transfer before the offer appears.

Wyndham’s own redemption page lists the United MileagePlus tile with a starting level of 6,000 points and a transfer ceiling of 90,000 points. The page states no bonus, no ratio and no deadline for one.

The terms Frequent Miler quotes

Frequent Miler reproduces the offer’s key terms. A member transfers Wyndham Rewards points in increments of 6,000 into United MileagePlus award miles in a single transaction. Transactions do not aggregate for the purpose of calculating miles. For the offer, 6,000 Wyndham Rewards points equal 2,400 United MileagePlus award miles. A transfer cannot be reversed once a member starts it.

Its deal block sets a 60,000-point maximum for a single transfer and a 90,000-point maximum in total. The total matches the ceiling on Wyndham’s own page.

The quoted terms name no end date for the bonus.

What each publisher values the points at

AwardWallet values Wyndham Rewards points at around 1.4 cents each on recent member redemptions, and United MileagePlus miles at an average of 2.09 cents. On those two readings, a 30,000-point transfer into 12,000 miles moves points worth about 420 dollars into miles worth about 251 dollars.

Frequent Miler uses its own scale: a Reasonable Redemption Value of 0.57 cents for a Wyndham point and 1.3 cents for a United mile. It reads the bonus as converting about 1.43 cents of points into 1.3 cents of miles, and its writer transferred the 90,000-point maximum for 36,000 MileagePlus miles.

Both sets of values are the publishers’ own readings of their own members’ redemptions. Neither set is a rate the airline or the programme publishes.

The hotel programmes United takes transfers from

Wyndham Rewards is one of eight hotel programmes on AwardWallet’s United transfer list. Its standard ratio is 6,000 points to 1,200 miles.

The other listings read as follows. Marriott Bonvoy transfers at 3:1, adds 10,000 bonus miles to a 60,000-point transfer made in one transaction, requires a 3,000-point minimum and posts in two to five days. IHG One Rewards runs at 10,000 to 2,000. Choice Privileges runs at 1,000 to 200 with a 5,000-point minimum. Hilton Honors runs at 10,000 to 1,000. Accor runs at 2,000 to 1,000. Hyatt runs at 1,250 to 500. Shangri-La Circle runs at 500 to 500.

AwardWallet works the same 10,000-point sum across the list at its own averages, before the bonus. 10,000 Wyndham points worth 140 dollars return 2,000 United miles worth 42 dollars. The same 10,000 points return 105 dollars of Accor points, 84 dollars of Hyatt points, 70 dollars of Marriott points, 42 dollars of IHG points, 42 dollars of Choice points and 21 dollars of Hilton points.

AwardWallet states that its own averages make the transfer decision favour Marriott’s RewardsPlus arrangement with United. 60,000 Bonvoy points convert into 30,000 United miles, which it computes as 558 dollars of points moving into 627 dollars of miles.

What to check before transferring

The rate does not appear on the programme’s pages, so a member reads it inside the account and starts the transfer from there.

Frequent Miler states that Wyndham points expire after 18 months of activity and four years after they were earned, with the second clock running regardless of activity in the account. AwardWallet notes that a member can redeem the points for stays at Wyndham hotels or through the programme’s Cottages.com partnership.

Frequent Miler carries earlier editions of the same bonus under the same headline, dated 9 October 2025, 14 August 2024 and 12 August 2023. AwardWallet states that past versions of the promotion carried a banner.
