Moscone West Books Two Nights for 3,000 Conference Delegates

Current San Francisco 2026 runs 4-5 November at Moscone West with 3,000-plus attendees, and its hotel block arrives only in the registration confirmation email.

Two days at Moscone West

Current San Francisco 2026 runs Wednesday 4 November and Thursday 5 November at Moscone West, 800 Howard St. The venue’s directions page carries that address. The event page dates the conference in its title block as November 4-5, 2026, and its schema.org record gives startDate 2026-11-04 and endDate 2026-11-05.

The venue’s live event feed returns one matching record. nid 873 names Current San Francisco 2026, the same two dates, the category Conv / Tradeshow, and the building Moscone West on the tail of its location string.

The venue describes the conference as “Confluent’s flagship conference dedicated to real-time data, data streaming, and artificial intelligence.”. The organiser publishes the scale on its San Francisco page: 3000+ attendees, 100+ speakers, 50+ partners, 80+ sessions.

The published programme

Four elements headline the event page: “Visionary Keynotes & Product Announcements”, “Technical Sessions & Hands-On Learning”, “Customer Success Stories & Real-World Applications” and “Networking & Community Engagement”.

The agenda runs three days. Tuesday 3 November carries “Travel Day to San Francisco”, the “Speaker Welcome Reception” and the “Partner Summit”. Wednesday 4 November carries the “Main Keynote”, “Breakout Sessions & Lightning Talks”, the “Expo Hall”, “Networking” and the “Current Party”. Thursday 5 November carries “Breakout Sessions & Lightning Talks”, the “Expo Hall” and “Networking”.

The main keynote sits on the first event day. Breakout sessions and lightning talks run on both days. The session index publishes six session types — AI Alley, Breakout Session, Lightning Talk, Training, Workshop and Keynote — and three levels: advanced, intermediate and introductory.

The organiser writes that delegates “Delve into 80+ sessions”. That line is the published session figure. The session index renders no count of its own.

The two nights the programme books

The speaker reception falls on the published travel day, so the first hotel night on the programme is 3 November. The keynote day and the Current Party fall on 4 November. The last event day is 5 November.

The published programme spans two nights. The organiser publishes no start or finish clock for either event day, and no clock for the Current Party.

The district inventory

The venue’s book-event page states its own purpose: “The Moscone Center serves primarily to fill hotel rooms in San Francisco and potentially the surrounding area.”. The same page carries a share: “More than two-thirds of the city’s 34,000 hotel rooms are within walking distance of The Moscone Center.”. Two-thirds of 34,000 is 22,667 rooms.

The venue’s FAQ page carries a count: “There are over 20,000 hotel rooms within walking distance of The Moscone Center offering a variety of styles and amenities.”.

A 3,000-attendee conference against 20,000 walking-distance rooms is 15 per cent of that inventory.

The block and the passes

The organiser’s San Francisco FAQ answers the room question in one line: “Yes! Hotel blocks are available in your confirmation email, all within walking distance of the Moscone Center.”. No property, no nightly rate and no cut-off date appears on the pages read.

A delegate books the room after registration completes. The confirmation email carries the block.

The event page carries two pass readings. One block reads “Current passes are available at no cost this year”, with the term that “capacity is limited and passes may no longer be available once the event reaches capacity”. A second block lists four paid tiers: Early Bird General Attendee $499, expired 15 August; Advance Individual Pass $699, expires 10 October; Standard Individual Pass $899, expires 29 October; and Onsite Individual Pass $999. The registration system asks for an account before it shows a pass.

The shared Wednesday

The venue’s feed holds two records in the fortnight around this conference. INFORMS Annual Meeting 2026 runs 1 to 4 November in Moscone South. Current San Francisco runs 4 to 5 November in Moscone West. No third booking sits in that window.

INFORMS publishes its own scale line: “more than 6,000 INFORMS members, students, prospective employers and employees, and academic and industry experts”. Its meeting page places the meeting at Moscone Center South and the Marriott Marquis San Francisco.

Both buildings carry an event on 4 November. The two organisers publish separate audiences of 3,000-plus and 6,000-plus.

The record so far

Three clocks sit in the published record. Arrival is Tuesday 3 November for the speaker reception. The Current Party falls on the night of Wednesday 4 November. Departure is Thursday 5 November after the second event day.

Neither publisher carries a rate for either night. The venue publishes no room block. The organiser publishes no block property, no rate and no cut-off. Neither organisation publishes an occupancy figure for the week of the conference.

The record carries the district inventory and the two published audiences: more than 20,000 rooms within walking distance, and two events sharing the Wednesday.
