Three show mornings
TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 runs Tuesday 13 to Thursday 15 October at Moscone West, 800 Howard St, San Francisco. The expo hall opens at 8 a.m. on all three days, and registration opens at 7:30 a.m. on the first day. The registration desk sits in the Level 1 lobby, and the Expo Hall sits on Level 2.
The organiser's agenda publishes the clocks. Day one carries registration 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., expo hours 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and networking 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Day two carries registration and expo 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and networking 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Day three closes all three at 3:30 p.m.
What three 8 a.m. starts do to a four-night stay
Monday 12 October carries early badge pickup from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and no sessions. That clock pulls a delegate's arrival forward to Monday night. Four nights run from Monday 12 October to a Friday 16 October checkout, and the show nights are three of them.
The floor opens at 8 a.m. on each of the three show days, so the morning meal sits in front of it. The day-one registration start at 7:30 a.m. opens the first morning a half hour earlier.
The stay takes its shape from the calendar: four nights from Monday 12 October to a Friday 16 October checkout, or three nights if the delegate arrives on Tuesday 13 October. The Monday night comes from the badge pickup, and a delegate who skips it books the shorter stay.
The Thursday close
Thursday's expo hall and registration desk both shut at 3:30 p.m., and the networking lounge shuts with them. The programme runs on. The agenda lists "Everyone Can Build Software Now. What Happens Next?" from 3:15 to 3:45 p.m., "Beyond the Check: The Power of Access" from 3:45 to 4:15 p.m. and the announcement of the Startup Battlefield 2026 winner from 4:15 to 4:30 p.m.
At 4 p.m. on Thursday the expo floor and the registration desk are closed while the stage sessions run another half hour. Floor traffic clears the property between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.
The fourth night
The early close puts the last show day's demand into the morning and the early afternoon. Departures move into Thursday afternoon and evening. The Thursday night is the night a delegate can drop, and the four-night booking is the one that carries it.
The two ends of the stay come from the calendar. The Monday night follows a badge pickup with no sessions behind it. The Thursday night follows a floor that shuts at 3:30 p.m. and a programme that ends at 4:30 p.m.
The block the organiser publishes
TechCrunch's attendee hotel page carries four properties with their distance from Moscone West. Hyatt Regency San Francisco Downtown SOMA sits 0.2 miles away. Hotel Zelos San Francisco and InterContinental San Francisco sit 0.3 miles away each. Grand Hyatt San Francisco sits 0.5 miles away.
The page states its terms in its own words. It describes the rates as significantly lower than booking through the official hotels and other travel sites. It lists attendee perks: reservations can be cancelled or modified without penalty, there is no upfront cost, and rewards points and loyalty programmes work as normal. Availability is described as "while rooms last." The page names 38 North Connections as its reservation partner.
The ticket tier and the door price
Ticket prices at the current tier run $949 for an Attendee Pass, $999 for a Founder Pass and $1,099 for an Investor Pass, against regular prices of $1,049, $1,099 and $1,199. The page states that all prices increase at the door on 13 October, and it offers a second pass at 50 percent off.
The citywide rate
Engine puts the San Francisco par rate at $165 a night across 3.1 million public rate observations from May 2024 to April 2026. October reads $176, seven percent above the citywide average, and the market ranks 18 of 50 with a rate 11 percent above the $148 median.
AHLA and CHLA, with Oxford Economics, put the city's tourism economy above $12 billion in 2025, with about $900 in citywide spending per room night, nearly 50,000 jobs and $2 billion in taxes. Average daily rate sits at 92 percent of 2019, with 98 percent forecast for 2026.
The house's week
Monday carries the badge pickup and no sessions. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday open the floor at 8 a.m., and Thursday closes it at 3:30 p.m. The stay takes its arrival from Monday and its departure from a Friday checkout, and the Thursday evening is the window the early close opens. Moscone West sits at 800 Howard St, and BART or MUNI to Powell station serves it.
