Three show mornings and a 4 p.m. Thursday close at Moscone

SEMICON West 2026 opens the Moscone floor at 10 a.m. on three straight days and closes it at 4 p.m. Thursday, with a pre-show Monday and a housing block already shut.

Three show mornings at Moscone

SEMICON West 2026 runs October 13 to 15 at Moscone Center in San Francisco. The Moscone Center's own events feed dates the show to those three days and places it in Moscone North and South.

The expo hall keeps one set of hours. It runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13 and Wednesday, October 14, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, on the organiser's exhibitor planning timeline, revised September 21, 2026. Exhibitor early access runs 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on all three days. Late access runs 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the Tuesday and on the Wednesday. The Thursday listing carries early access only.

The morning count starts at eight

A front desk that reads the 10 a.m. public open sets its house count two hours late. Early access puts exhibitors, booth staff and crews into the building from 8 a.m., and it repeats on all three mornings. The floor carries 20 open hours across the week: seven on the Tuesday, seven on the Wednesday and six on the Thursday.

The evening side is uneven. WestFest runs 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. in Moscone South, Level 300, on the Tuesday. The agenda-at-a-glance lists that item on the Tuesday only.

Thursday's 4 p.m. close and the fourth night

Thursday gives up an hour against the two days ahead of it. The floor closes at 4 p.m., and the teardown starts in the same hour. Exhibitor move-out runs 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the Thursday, with carriers checked in by 5 p.m. It continues 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on the Friday, with carriers checked in by 2 p.m., and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Saturday, with carriers checked in by 8 a.m.

Two gaps sit inside the week. The Wednesday 5 p.m. close to the Thursday 10 a.m. open is 17 hours. The Thursday 4 p.m. close to the Friday 8 a.m. move-out start is 16 hours.

The Thursday night serves the teardown. The three nights before it serve the show programme.

Where the pre-show Monday lands

The registration site labels October 12 as the pre-show day. The agenda-at-a-glance puts SEMI U courses and the SEMI Market Symposium on that Monday. General exhibitor move-in runs 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the Monday, one day before the floor opens.

The pass ladder shows who is in the building that day. The organiser's pass comparison puts the Expo Plus pass at three days and the Thought Leadership and All-In passes at four. The SEMI Market Symposium sits on the four-day columns, and it prices at $575 on the Expo Plus column. A SEMI U course prices at $695 on the Expo Plus and Thought Leadership columns and $595 on the All-In column.

Early bird rates ended June 26. Advance rates ended September 25, 18 days before the Tuesday open. Written cancellation requests run to October 1 and carry a $25 processing fee. Substitutions are the only change accepted from October 2.

The room block closed before the show. General exhibitor housing opened March 11. The rooming list deadline was August 28, 46 days before the open. The last day to cancel without penalty was September 25, the day the advance rates ended. Additions, changes and cancellations ran to September 29, and the housing bureau handed reservation management to the hotels on October 1. Its reservation page now reads: Housing is now closed. Please contact your confirmed hotel directly for changes and cancellations beginning 10/1/2026.

The Yerba Buena Partnership lists 11 hotels in the district around the center, each with a street address. The roster runs from the InterContinental San Francisco at 888 Howard Street and the San Francisco Marriott Marquis at 780 Mission Street to The Mosser Hotel at 54 4th Street and the Pickwick Hotel at 85 5th Street. Engine puts the citywide par rate at $165 a night and October at $176, seven percent above the citywide basis.

The venue publishes its own operating terms. Legends Global is the exclusive provider of food service at the Moscone Center and on the surrounding streets when closed in conjunction with an event. The center carries no on-site parking. BART and MUNI reach Moscone North and South through Montgomery station.
