St. Jude Walk Miami filled the Fairgrounds for one Saturday morning

St. Jude Walk Miami put 2,598 registered walkers on the Miami-Dade fairgrounds on 26 September, with a 6:30 a.m. opening, a 7:30 a.m. ceremony and an 8 a.m. start.

Three times on one Saturday

St. Jude Walk Miami ran on Saturday, 26 September 2026 at the Miami Dade County Fair & Expo Center, 10901 SW 24th Street. The event published three times. The site opened at 6:30 a.m. The opening ceremony began at 7:30 a.m. The walk started at 8:00 a.m.

Registration has closed. The event page stayed open to donations and carried the counts.

The counts the event posted

2,598 participants registered. They walked as 261 teams. The event raised $570,360 against a $650,000 goal, which its own page states as 88 percent.

Those totals divide into 9.95 participants per team and $219.54 raised per participant. The event page stays open to donations, so the total can still move.

Miami Supreme Home Services and the Supreme Twins Foundation presented the walk. Window World, Kia and Bosch appear on the page as national series sponsors.

The 90 minutes before the start

The gate opens 90 minutes before the walk starts. The opening ceremony fills the middle of that window, at 7:30 a.m.

A front office that holds the date can put the three times on the shift handover and on the arrival letter. A guest who reads them knows when to leave the room.

The venue's Main Entrance Building holds 28 enclosed ticket windows across two floors, with a kitchen area, elevator access and nearby parking.

Arrival night and departure night

The walk publishes no hotel list, no room block and no travel programme. Its pages carry a date, a clock, a venue address, a sponsor roster and fundraising leaderboards.

The desk builds the product from the calendar. A Friday arrival rate tied to 26 September gives the booking one night. A two-night Friday and Saturday fence gives the stay a shape. A late checkout priced at the desk gives Sunday a time.

Each line carries a term the guest reads before paying. The date, the nights, the hour.

Breakfast covers against a known roster

A team in this event carries a named captain and a roster. Green Worldwide Miami Team lists Madelin McKay as captain, 13 participants and $1,360 raised against a $1,500 goal.

The walk's totals close at registration, so a kitchen can plan against 2,598 registered participants and 261 teams.

The published record carries no count of rooms booked and no count of breakfasts eaten in a hotel. Take covers from the hotel's reservation file and treat 2,598 as the ceiling.

The street and the grounds

The rental page bills 86 acres of grounds, and the grounds page bills an 80-acre facility. The venue accommodates more than 70 events a year outside the annual Youth Fair, which runs 21 days every spring.

The grounds carry 400 recreational vehicle hookups, 22 acres of asphalt, permanent overhead lighting, restrooms and showers.

The venue's calendar lists a Sounds of Screams tenancy on the grounds from 24 September to 1 November 2026. That window includes the walk date.

The venue publishes a disclaimer beside every listing. The Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition states that it is not affiliated with any activity on its fairgrounds and does not endorse that activity when it licenses the space.

What the record does not carry

2,598 is a registration count. The walk publishes no gate count and no finish time.

The venue's getting-here page lists five vehicle entrances and a rideshare drop-off at Coral Way and 112th Avenue. The same page states that those entrances apply to the annual Youth Fair and may not apply to Fair Expo Center events during the year. A guest who asks which gate to use gets the answer from the event on the day.

The front office holds one date and three published times. It prices the two nights around them and staffs the queue at 6:30 a.m. The weekend then runs on the hotel's own counts.
