SF Restaurant Week Runs Ten Days on Two Price Ladders

Fall SF Restaurant Week runs 16 to 25 October 2026 with midday prix-fixe menus at $15 to $45 and dinners at $30 to $90 across 177 entries, and the organiser points diners at the two weekends.

The Window

Fall SF Restaurant Week runs Friday 16 October through Sunday 25 October 2026 on prix-fixe menus at restaurants across San Francisco and the wider Bay Area. The Golden Gate Restaurant Association organises it. The ten days hold two weekends.

The association's restaurant FAQ tells members that many diners make their Restaurant Week reservations for the weekends, and it asks participating kitchens to hold the menu through all ten days.

Engine's San Francisco market page, read on 14 October 2026, puts the city average at $165 a night across 3.1 million public rate observations from May 2024 to April 2026, and October at $176, seven per cent above that average. December is the cheapest month at $129 and March the priciest at $197.

The Two Ladders

Midday menus of two or more items or courses sit at $15, $25, $35 or $45. Dinner menus of three or more items or courses sit at $30, $45, $60, $75 or $90. Each restaurant picks one or more of the published price points.

The roster read on 14 October 2026 carried 177 entries. Ninety-seven list a midday menu and 157 list a dinner menu, with 77 offering both. Dinner at $75 is the most listed tier on 46 entries, ahead of dinner at $45 on 45 and dinner at $60 on 43. Lunch at $25 is the most listed daytime tier on 38.

Six entries sit at the $15 floor of the midday ladder, and one of them offers brunch alone: Creative Ideas Cafe. Fifteen entries carry the $90 dinner, among them Astra at The St. Regis San Francisco, the only hotel-named entry on the roster.

Where the Guests Are

The roster sorts under 42 neighbourhood labels. The Mission carries 14 entries, then Union Square, the Financial District and the Richmond at 12 each. The Marina, SOMA, Cow Hollow and the Tenderloin carry eight each, North Beach and the Castro seven, and Fisherman's Wharf, Yerba Buena and the Embarcadero six.

Six labels sit outside the city: Burlingame with two entries, then Concord, Cupertino, San Jose, Sausalito and Treasure Island with one each.

Dining flags run to indoor on 173 entries, outdoor on 81, takeout on 31, delivery on 15 and vegetarian options on three.

How the Tables Book

Of the 177 entries, 122 take reservations on OpenTable and a further 15 sit on Resy, Yelp, Google Reserve, Tock, SevenRooms and DoorDash. Twelve send the guest to the restaurant's own site, and 28 carry no booking control on the roster.

The association states that the programme is open to any restaurant regardless of whether it uses OpenTable's reservation platform.

What the Roster Carries and What It Does Not

The association's About page names the live list as the Spring 2026 roster and states that the Fall list would be available on 2 October. The list served on 14 October carried 177 entries with prices attached, and each entry links the menu detail or the restaurant's own site.

The roster carries no hotel participation, no room rate and no hotel package. The organiser publishes the ten price points, the two-item and three-item floors, and a registration and menu deadline of Monday 28 September 2026.

Front-Office Notes

The organiser's own data note points desk and concierge briefings at the two weekends, 16 to 18 October and 23 to 25 October, for guests asking where to eat.

Eight of the 42 labels, the Mission, Union Square, the Financial District, the Richmond, the Marina, SOMA, Cow Hollow and the Tenderloin, carry 82 of the 177 entries.

Twenty-eight entries take no booking through the roster, so a guest sent to one of those needs a telephone call rather than a link.
