Three mornings that started at 7:00
The Oregon Foot & Ankle Conference ran at the Oregon Convention Center from Thursday 22 October to Saturday 24 October 2026. The venue lists the meeting in Room F150-151 and marks it registration required.
The organiser publishes the class profile. Thursday ran 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for 9.5 CECH. Friday ran the same 11 hours for 9.5. Saturday ran 7:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. for 6. The total was 25.
Each morning opened with a session titled Breakfast & Learn. Thursday held 7:00-9:00 a.m. for 2 CECH. Friday held 7:00-8:00 a.m. for 1. Saturday held 7:00-8:00 a.m. for 1. Lunch & Learn sat at 12:00-1:15 p.m. on all three days.
Three 7:00 a.m. opens set the arrival. A delegate in the room for Thursday morning held the Wednesday night. Friday morning held Thursday night. Saturday morning held Friday night.
The hour before the first session
The venue garage opens at 6:00 a.m. on a standard day. Standard entry is $15 for up to 18 hours with no in-and-out privileges, and event days carry a $15 to $25 entry rate. Overnight parking is prohibited.
The block property is the Hyatt Regency at 375 NE Holladay Street. OPMA publishes $139 a night plus tax under group code G-OPMA, with bookings due by 30 September 2026. The hotel page spells the property "Hyatt Recency Portland" and prints that address and a reservations line, 971-222-1234.
The foot route from that address to the centre's Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard entrance runs 526 m and seven minutes on the OSRM foot profile. A guest on that route left the lobby at about 6:50 a.m.
Coffee sat outside that hour. The venue's Eat Now page lists every retail outlet closed on Saturday 24 October. On Friday 23 October it showed one service, Portland Coffee Roasters at Pre-Function C, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Both food-truck plazas and Stir Bistro read Closed on the same page.
Where the group ate
The programme books its own meal windows. Breakfast opened at 7:00 a.m. and lunch sat at 12:00-1:15 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Thursday's annual business meeting started at 6:00 p.m. at the venue and carried DePuy Synthes as sponsor. The Friday reception ran 6:00-7:00 p.m. with cocktails and appetizers. The group's evening sat in a hotel dining room from about 7:00 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.
Saturday ends the meeting at 1:45 p.m.
Housekeeping across an 11-hour day
The room of a delegate in the 7:00 a.m. session emptied before the morning floor pass. It stayed empty until the 6:00 p.m. business meeting or the 7:00 p.m. reception.
A stayover clean for a block room fits in the afternoon and meets that guest on return. The desk has the whole service day to place it.
Friday carried the tighter hand. The meeting ended at 6:00 p.m. and the reception began in the same minute.
Saturday released its night. Checkout for the physician cohort fell on Saturday 24 October, and the stay billed three nights.
Two cohorts inside one block code
Exhibitors carried a shorter stay. The vendor prospectus sets setup for Thursday 7:00-10:00 a.m. and teardown for Friday 3:45-6:00 p.m. Their nights were Wednesday and Thursday.
Partners carry an annual membership. The prospectus prices Silver at $2,500 a year, Gold at $5,000 and Platinum at $10,000, with unlimited access to the member list at Platinum.
Registration carried the physician ladder. An OPMA member registered free up to 1 August 2026 and paid $49 after that date. An APMA member paid $499, then $549. A non-APMA member paid $1,199, then $1,249. Residents and students registered free at either date.
The rate fence and its date
The block carried one code, one property and one cut-off. The cut-off of 30 September sat 22 days before the Thursday open. The registration ladder's first step sat 82 days before it.
$139 is 11.6 percent of the $1,199 non-member registration and 27.9 percent of the $499 APMA rate.
OpenStreetMap records 15 named hotels within 1.2 km of the building and nine within 800 m, measured in a straight line. One of those 15 published a rate for this meeting across the organiser's pages.
What the three days asked of the block
One. A coffee and pastry service for 6:00-6:50 a.m. inside the property. The earliest in-venue service the centre publishes opened at 8:00 a.m., and the first programme item started at 7:00 a.m.
Two. Stayover cleans in the afternoon. The room emptied before 7:00 a.m. and refilled after 6:00 p.m.
Three. A rooming list in two cohorts. Exhibitors held Wednesday and Thursday. Physicians held Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Four. A third night dated against the 30 September cut-off, with the 82-day registration ladder behind it.
