The Event and the Forecast
The Midwest Healthcare Engineering Conference & Trade Show runs November 8 to 10, 2026 at the Indiana Convention Center, 100 South Capitol Ave. The venue publisher forecasts 600 attendees and places the meeting in Exhibit Hall A. Sunday carries one published function on the venue side. A reception runs 4:45 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at The Westin Indianapolis, sponsored by CMTA, Inc. The pre-conference session ends at 4:30 p.m. A delegate attending both needs a Sunday bed.
The Monday Night
Monday holds the longest programme and the largest share of the credits. The organiser states the conference is approved for 11 contact hours by the American Society for Healthcare Engineering. Monday carries 6 of them, Sunday 1.5 and Tuesday 3.5.
The Monday desk opens at 7:00 a.m. and closes at 4:30 p.m. Continental breakfast runs 7:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. Sessions run 7:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. The ISHE Luncheon runs 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. in Room 125. A happy hour and ribbon cutting runs 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Free time runs 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Tuesday registration opens at 7:30 a.m. and the general session starts at 9:00 a.m. A delegate attending the Tuesday opening needs a Monday bed.
The Tuesday Drop
The exhibit hall opens one day. The Tuesday floor window runs 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Four prize drawings run at 12:00 p.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. The grand prize drawing starts at 3:00 p.m. Free time runs 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and registration stays open to 4:30 p.m.
The published programme ends the Tuesday afternoon at the drawing. A delegate who books Sunday and Monday releases the Tuesday night on that clock.
The Block
The organiser publishes one host property and one rate. The Westin Indianapolis at 241 West Washington Street carries a discounted group rate of $179 a night plus taxes and applicable fees.
Visit Indy lists The Westin Indianapolis at 575 sleeping rooms and 42,500 square feet of meeting space. The 600 forecast equals 104.3 percent of those rooms, so single-night demand from the group runs past one property's inventory.
One full property night at the block rate is $102,925 across 575 rooms. A 600-room night at the same rate is $107,400. Both figures are ceilings that assume every occupied room pays the block rate.
The City Around the Group
The venue footer gives 7,100 downtown hotel rooms, 4,700 connected to the convention center by skywalk, and 200 downtown restaurants within walking distance. The 600 forecast equals 8.45 percent of the 7,100 rooms.
The venue's own event feed for November 2026 carries six bookings. They are the National Science Teaching Association convention on November 4 to 7 at 4,000, the Monumental Health and Fitness Expo on November 6 in Exhibit Hall A-B at 20,000, this conference on November 8 to 10 in Exhibit Hall A at 600, the IU Health Leadership Development Institute on November 10 in Exhibit Hall G-H at 2,200, the Percussive Arts Society International Convention on November 11 to 14 at 5,200, and the ASHA Convention on November 19 to 21 at 13,500.
The expo holds the halls beside Exhibit Hall A two days before this group arrives, on a 20,000 forecast against the conference's 600.
Registration and Terms
Registration runs $340 for an All Access Pass through September 14 and $380 after. A Monday Only pass and a Tuesday Only pass each run $255 before that date and $295 after. Technician Training runs $95.
The organiser states that cancellations before October 2, 2026 are refunded less a $100 administrative fee, and that cancellation requests go in writing to mwhcec@raybourn.com.
