Metropole Prices Three Jazz Nights and Two Dinner Packages

The Metropole Hotel Cork sells three ticketed nights from EUR37, two dining packages that carry guest-list entry, and stay packages that include club access.

The three nights and the price on each

The Metropole Hotel Cork sells three ticketed nights of its Jazz Festival Club across the October bank holiday weekend. Friday 23 October costs €37 plus booking fee. Saturday 24 October costs €47 plus booking fee, and the hotel marks it sold out. Sunday 25 October costs €47 plus booking fee, with final tickets remaining at the time of writing.

The hotel sells through an Eventbrite page. Tickets at the door depend on availability. The hotel publishes no capacity for the club.

What a ticket covers

One ticket covers admission, entry to the live music stages through the building, and the performances listed for that day. Seating is limited and allocated first come, first served. The hotel advises arriving early. The club runs until 2.30am.

The programming the hotel has published

The release names eight acts. Five return to the club: The Swing Bandits, the Paul Dunlea Quartet, Harry Connolly Jazz Friends, Fiona Kennedy and the New York Brass Band. Three are new to the bill: Souldriven, CEO Experiment and the Leopoldo Osio Trio.

The venue's day cards carry eighteen names. Friday 23 October lists The Swing Bandits, Souldriven, Jazz Allstarz, Harry Connolly Jazz Friends, Motones and the Côté Calmet Quartet. Saturday 24 October lists the New York Brass Band, Bobby Mc & The Dukes, Chief Keegan, Lamorotte, the Lee Meehan Trio and the Songstress Quartet, with music across four floors. Sunday 25 October lists the Full House Big Band, Busquitos, the Ryan Quigley Quartet, Frankly My Dear, Art Crimes and Motones. Each day card closes with “and more”.

Four names in the release do not appear on those day cards: the Paul Dunlea Quartet, Fiona Kennedy, CEO Experiment and the Leopoldo Osio Trio. The release gives them no stage, no day and no time.

Two dinner prices carry guest-list entry

Jazz & Dine costs €95 per person. It covers a three-course meal at The Merchant restaurant and guest-list entry to the club. Jazz Dine & Bubbles costs €120 per person and adds half a bottle of Prosecco per person. The hotel sells both across all three nights, with limited availability.

Lunch at The Merchant carries live music. Daytime access to the other performance areas runs first come, first served for those diners.

The stay package removes the ticket

Guests on a Jazz Weekend package hold complimentary access to all public entertainment areas for the length of their stay, and buy no club ticket. The packages run one, two or three nights from Friday 23 to Monday 26 October 2026. They include a welcome drink in The Met Bar, a three-course dinner, breakfast each morning and parking beside the hotel. Kent Railway Station sits a short walk away.

Two clocks on the same weekend

Cork Beo's preview puts free live performances from 1.30pm to 5pm on Saturday, Sunday and Monday afternoons, and ticketed music from 6.30pm to 2am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. The hotel's own pages put the close at 2.30am and describe music from the afternoon into the early hours. Both statements stand as published.

The same preview states that the club is an over-23s venue.

Where the hotel sits in the weekend

The Metropole stands on MacCurtain Street in Cork's Victorian Quarter, postcode T23 EEC3. The Guinness Cork Jazz Festival runs 22 to 26 October 2026, a window that brackets the club's three ticketed nights. The festival's Music Trail lists more than 70 venues across Cork City, Douglas and Kinsale.

The festival began in this building. The hotel states that its Marketing Manager Jim Mountjoy launched the event at the Metropole in 1978. Sandra Murphy, group brand and communications manager at Trigon Hotels, said the Cork Jazz Festival is a special time of the year for music fans and that the Metropole has been an integral part of it since its inception in 1978.

She said guests come to the Metropole for a flavour of the many different types of music on offer in Cork across the weekend.
