The Published Window
The Indiana Convention Center forecasts 850 delegates for the Indiana Health and Safety Conference and Expo and dates the event February 7 to February 10, 2027. The venue page carries 2027 in its title block, its description tags and its schema dates. One sentence in the body copy carries 2026.
The organiser, the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, runs its own registration page from February 8 to February 10. The venue's calendar opens the event one day earlier, on Sunday February 7.
The Arrival Wave
The organiser puts pre-conference workshops on Monday February 8 and opens the conference the same day with a welcome reception and expo preview from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in Hall H.
A delegate who arrives for a Monday morning workshop needs the Sunday night. A delegate who arrives Monday morning needs the Monday night only. The Sunday night is the one the two publishers treat differently. The venue's feed carries it, and the organiser's registration window does not.
The Block and the January 15 Deadline
The organiser names the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis the official hotel for the 2027 conference. The hotel sits at One S Capitol Ave and connects to the Convention Center by skywalk. The organiser asks delegates to reserve online by January 15 to receive the conference rate, and it notes that parking is not validated at any location.
The booking link opens the Hyatt group-booking route for property INDRI under code G-ICSC. The rate sits behind that flow. The registration table's early-bird prices run before January 16, so the room deadline and the registration deadline land on the same day, Friday January 15, 2027.
Rate Positioning for Three Nights
A delegate who attends the full conference from Monday February 8 and stays through the Wednesday close holds the nights of February 7, 8 and 9, with a Wednesday February 10 checkout. All three nights sit inside February, the lowest month on Engine's Indianapolis rate table.
Engine's city page gives Indianapolis an average nightly rate of $128 across 1.2M public rate observations from May 2024 to April 2026. February averages $107, 16 percent below the city average. May averages $158, the highest month. Engine reports par rates, the cheapest publicly available price at the time of each search, with observations 10 to 180 days before check-in.
Three nights at the 850 forecast come to 2,550 room nights, equal to 35.92 percent of the venue's 7,100 downtown rooms. The 850 delegates equal 11.97 percent of the downtown base and 18.09 percent of the 4,700 rooms the venue connects by skywalk.
The Departure Cluster
The conference closes with the Governor's Workplace Safety Awards luncheon on Wednesday February 10 from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. at the Convention Center. Registration for the luncheon comes with every February 10 registration, and a table of ten is priced at $899 against $99 for an individual ticket.
The expo runs one day only, Tuesday February 9, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The networking reception runs Tuesday from 5 to 6 p.m. in the 500 Ballroom Reception Room. Tuesday holds the expo close and the reception, and Wednesday holds the luncheon as the last scheduled item, so departures cluster after 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday February 10.
Registration Tiers for the Front Desk
The organiser prices the conference in dated tiers. Early-bird rates run before January 16 and full rates begin January 16. Full conference attendance for February 8 to 10 is $599 early and $699 later. Two days are $499 and $599. One day is $399 and $499. Pre-conference workshops are $299 and $399. Expo-only entry is $129 and student entry is $99.
Group discounts take 20 percent off for three to five attendees from one company, 25 percent for six to ten, and 30 percent for eleven or more. The organiser applies the discounts to new orders, and it excludes the February 8 workshops, the expo and student registrations.
The organiser runs a separate scale for VPP and INSharp site employees. That scale gives 20 percent for one or two attendees, 25 percent for three to ten, and 30 percent for eleven or more.
Where the Published Figures Stop
The venue page publishes no block, no rate and no hall for this event. The organiser names Hall H for its expo, its innovation lounge and its well-being hub. The convention bureau's own hall table gives Hall H 74,400 square feet, 7,028 theatre seats, 4,600 banquet seats and 373 booths of ten by ten.
The organiser's 2027 agenda is not yet published. The page says the agenda will appear in the fall and offers the 2026 agenda in the meantime.
The Front-Office Plan
Build the rota around two peaks. The first runs Sunday February 7 and Monday February 8, when the block fills and Monday's 4:30 p.m. reception starts. The second runs Wednesday February 10 after the luncheon, when the group releases its rooms inside one afternoon.
Price the three nights inside the low season and hold the Sunday night for delegates arriving ahead of Monday's workshops. Reconcile the room deadline with the January 15 cut-off, because the same date governs the conference rate the delegate has already paid.
