Grand Hôtel Beauvau: A 333 EUR Night in 17 Square Metres

Milesopedia's 8.5/10 stay report on the Grand Hôtel Beauvau read for hotel operators: the 333 EUR corner superior, the 16,650-point redemption, one 40-square-metre meeting room and the noise fix.

Milesopedia published a stay report on the Grand Hôtel Beauvau Marseille Vieux-Port on 15 October 2026. Maude Carrier wrote it, Audrey Voisine holds the revision credit, and the page carries an update stamp of 17 October. The verdict is 8.5/10, and the stay ran on an Atout France press trip, which the review discloses.

Accor lists the property as a four-star MGallery at 4 rue Beauvau, trading since 1816. Its guest rating reads 4.8/5 across 1,632 reviews.

The rate and the room it buys

The review puts a night at 250 to 400 EUR for a classic, superior or deluxe room, by season. The night it tests cost 333 EUR.

Accor publishes all three footprints. Classic and superior rooms measure 17 square metres and 182 square feet. Classic rooms carry a city or courtyard view. Superior rooms carry a partial view of the Canebière and the Old Port. A deluxe room measures 20 square metres and 215 square feet with a sea or panorama view.

The tested room was a corner superior on the third floor with a queen bed, so the 333 EUR night bought the smallest published footprint in the house.

Accor's member rate runs up to 10 percent off the public rate.

The redemption arithmetic

ALL converts 2,000 Reward points into 40 EUR off a booking, which prices one point at two eurocents.

At that rate, 333 EUR equals 16,650 points. The programme credits in 1,000-point blocks. The same bill clears at 17,000 points for 340 EUR of credit, or at 16,000 points plus 13 EUR in cash.

American Express Points-Privilèges transfer at two for one after the joint announcement of 22 July 2026. The review puts the same night at 33,300 points through that route.

Meeting space, described two ways

The review describes meeting rooms in the plural, salons that host work meetings and small events. Accor's page publishes one room of 40 square metres and 430 square feet, seating 20 at most, with a banquet capacity of zero. A group that needs breakouts reads the single room first.

Breakfast, the bar and the room count

Both records list breakfast and Bar Beauvau, and neither lists a pool, a spa or a dinner restaurant. The review's buffet runs to viennoiseries, cheeses, charcuterie, hot dishes and specialty coffees at no extra charge, served in a room over the port.

The review lists the in-room kit: L'Occitane products, a rain head and a standard head, bathrobes and slippers, a Nespresso machine and a minibar with complimentary water.

The noise line an operator can act on

The reviewer reports the street and its terraces as noisy by day and by night behind good double glazing. She advises earplugs for light sleepers, and her FAQ points to a classic room on the courtyard side. Accor's classic tier lists a city or courtyard view.

That request lands on a room type the hotel already sells, which puts the fix at the front desk.

What the reading leaves an operator

One reviewer at 8.5/10 and a programme rating of 4.8/5 across 1,632 reviews. A 17-square-metre room at 333 EUR. A redemption ladder that prices the same night at 16,650 points of value. One 40-square-metre meeting room seating 20. A breakfast room over the port and a lounge bar facing the sunset.
