The Envelope
The FullScale Symposium runs Thursday 8 October to Saturday 10 October 2026 at the Indiana Convention Center. The venue assigns Sagamore Ballroom 1-7 and forecasts 1,000 attendees. The organiser states more than 1,000 participants.
The ballroom set measures 33,335 square feet across seven sections at a 32-foot ceiling, and seats 4,260 theatre style.
Registration runs $1,250 at the regular rate and $1,000 at the early rate, which closed 31 July. A pre-conference workshop costs $300.
The Arrival Wave
Two arrival bands reach the front desk.
The first lands Wednesday 7 October. The registration desk opens that evening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. for early check-in. The organiser publishes the purpose: check in Wednesday to avoid lines on Thursday morning.
The second band lands Thursday morning. The registration desk runs 8 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. Learning Labs and Pre-Conference Workshops both start at 9 a.m. and run to noon. A 9 a.m. start pulls arrivals into the hour before it.
The day ends on the Welcome Reception, 5:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
The Two Block Nights
The group rate covers 8 and 9 October. Thursday and Friday are the block nights.
October 7 falls outside the block, and the organiser publishes the handling. Book 8-9 October through the Symposium reservation link for the group rate. Reserve 7 October direct with the hotel at the standard rate. Use one guest name across both reservations and ask the hotel to link them as consecutive stays.
Le Méridien Indianapolis by Marriott is the conference hotel. It sits at 123 South Illinois Street, 0.2 miles from the Center. The group rate is $229 a night. The reservation deadline is 22 September 2026. The organiser states the block carries limited availability.
The Saturday Departure Cluster
Saturday 10 October closes the programme early in the afternoon. The registration desk runs 7 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Breakfast runs 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. Sessions start at 8 a.m. Lunch runs 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The last session ends at 1:15 p.m.
Checkout pressure builds through Saturday morning. The building empties by early afternoon. Room demand from this group on Saturday night runs near zero.
Housekeeping's turnover point is 1:15 p.m.
Rate Positioning for Three Nights
Three nights run Wednesday 7, Thursday 8 and Friday 9 October. The stay ends Saturday 10 October.
The block holds $229 for the Thursday and Friday nights. That $229 also sits against the market's own printed average. The Downtown Indy Alliance reported an average daily rate of $209.11 for downtown Indianapolis hotels on CoStar and STR data. The block sits $19.89 above that average, or 9.5 percent.
Two definitions sit behind the comparison. The $229 is a negotiated group rate for one property. The $209.11 is a market average across downtown. State both bases in any rate conversation.
The block does not cover Wednesday. The organiser routes that night to the property at its own standard rate.
What the Numbers Mean at the Desk
A three-night stay at the block rate totals $687 a delegate. Across 1,000 delegates that is a ceiling of $687,000. The two block nights total $458 a delegate, or $458,000 across the group. Both figures assume every delegate books and pays the group rate.
One thousand delegates is 14.1 percent of the 7,100 downtown rooms. The American Dental Association Scientific Sessions run on the same three dates with a 4,000 forecast. The city absorbs 5,000 forecast delegates across 8, 9 and 10 October.
