Four show days land on Friday
Do it Best Corp. holds its Fall Market at the Indiana Convention Center from Friday 25 September to Monday 28 September 2026. The center lists forecast attendance at 12,000. The market lists more than 9,300 attendees, more than 1,200 vendors and 566,000-plus square feet of floor across 75 learning sessions.
The building stands at 100 South Capitol Ave. Downtown holds 7,100 hotel rooms, and 4,700 of them join the center by skywalk. Three hotels on the market's own room list connect directly. The other 19 sit between one and 5.5 blocks out.
Thursday carries the first arrivals
Programming starts a day before the contracted window. Two Epicor bootcamps run 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Rooms 244 and 245 on Thursday 24 September. The Rental Center Training School runs 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Room 131 with breakfast at 7:30 a.m.
Check-in splits across two days. Thursday brings the training cohort. Friday brings the dealer wave, landing between the 7:30 a.m. Power Preview and the 3:15 p.m. Market Kickoff. Staff the desk for two peaks.
The shuttle runs on a 30-minute head
Seven hotels ride the free shuttle: Holiday Inn Select at 410 S. Missouri St., Holiday Inn Indianapolis Downtown at 515 S. West St., Staybridge Suites at 535 S. West St., Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre Hotel at 31 W Ohio St., Aloft Indianapolis Downtown at 136 E Market St., Tru by Hilton at 601 Russell Ave and the InterContinental at 17 W Market St.
Pick-up and drop-off sit at the entrance near the Maryland Street Canopy, across from the Westin. Buses run about every 30 minutes, from 7 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Friday, 5:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Saturday, 6:30 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. Sunday and 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday.
Saturday opens the hardest window. The first bus leaves at 5:30 a.m. and the floor opens at 8:30 a.m. Staff the lobby from 5 a.m.
Monday closes with a second squeeze. The floor shuts at noon, the shuttle stops at 2:30 p.m. and the airport sits 15 minutes away. Move luggage to the bell desk across that window.
Breakfast moves earlier than the floor
Saturday serves breakfast from 6 to 7:30 a.m. in the Wabash Ballroom. The Merchandising Preview follows at 7:30 a.m. in the Sagamore Ballroom, and the floor opens at 8:30 a.m.
Sunday and Monday run a different pattern. The floor opens at 7 a.m. on both days, and 7 to 8 a.m. is quiet hour for dealers. Vendors staff their booths from 8 a.m.
Open the hot line at 5:30 a.m. from Saturday through Monday. Place a grab-and-go counter on the skywalk route. A delegate who wants the quiet hour rides the 6:30 a.m. shuttle on Sunday or Monday.
The day-by-day shape
Friday holds the pre-floor sessions. Knowledge Central runs at 8:45 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. in Rooms 231 to 245. The LBM Industry Update runs at noon in the 500 Ballroom with lunch from 11:45 a.m. The Market Kickoff runs at 3:15 p.m. in the Sagamore Ballroom, and a Market Mixer fills the floor from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
The floor then runs 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. to noon Monday, 23 hours in total. Sunday adds a service at 8:15 a.m. in Rooms 107 and 108. The Annual Shareholders' Meeting and CEO Address runs at 5 p.m. in the Sagamore Ballroom, with a rebate distribution and reception in the 500 Ballroom until 7 p.m.
Staffing levers for the duty manager
Five moves carry the four days. Move breakfast to 5:30 a.m. from Saturday through Monday. Add one bell position from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday for the post-floor luggage wave. Place a shuttle marshal in the lobby from 5 a.m. Saturday and from 6 a.m. Sunday and Monday. Set express checkout for Sunday and Monday mornings. Hold housekeeping's heaviest turnaround for the Sunday and Monday departures, because Thursday and Friday take the arrivals.
Two counts set the plan. The center reports 200 downtown restaurants within walking distance, so dinner demand spreads off property after the 5 p.m. close on Saturday and the 4:30 p.m. close on Sunday. The airport sits 15 minutes out, which spreads departures across the morning.
