The published clock for the day
Three times govern the morning. The south parking lot opens at 8:00 a.m. The ticket office and the stadium gates both open at 9:00 a.m. The first kick-off is at 10:00 a.m.
Every published start time on this Saturday sits at or before 10:00 a.m. A guest who wants a stadium seat for the first kick-off leaves the property before the 9:00 a.m. gate.
Wave one: the arrivals before 10:00 a.m.
The front desk competes with breakfast service, luggage storage and the departure queue for the same staff between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. Put two agents on the desk before 7:00 a.m. when the property holds a large Saturday arrival set. Hold rooms for early check-in requests.
Wave two: the afternoon and evening arrivals
The day runs past the first kick-off. The organiser sells one ticket for five events and prints its stadium day as 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The venue page runs its own title block to 10:00 p.m.
The Tailgate and Fan Festival on South Street runs 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The second high school showcase game kicks off at 7:00 p.m. The Battle of the Bands takes the field from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with Talladega College, Kentucky State University and Miles College.
Those guests reach the desk in the afternoon and the early evening, after the morning set has cleared. The Daycation Party runs 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the West Club Lounge and admits guests 21 and over.
What the 2026 football slate carries
The venue page lists two girls flag football matchups and two high school varsity showcase games. Crispus Attucks plays Arsenal Tech from 10:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Lawrence North plays Ben Davis from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Warren Central plays Pike with a 2:00 p.m. kick-off. Lawrence North plays Ben Davis again with a 7:00 p.m. kick-off.
The organiser’s game history lists an HBCU matchup every year from 1984 through 2025, with 2020 cancelled and 2022 marked "No game". The 2026 slate carries no HBCU football game. The HBCU field programming for this edition is the Battle of the Bands at 5:00 p.m.
Pricing the one Saturday night

The figures are par rates, the cheapest public price at the time of each search, observed 10 to 180 days before check-in. September averages $117, which is 9 percent below the city average. February is the low month at $107 and May the peak at $158, a spread of 32 percent. Indianapolis ranks 39 of 50 markets in that dataset, 14 percent below the $148 median.
The published record carries no rate for the night of 26 September. A revenue manager prices that Saturday against the September average and the arrival pattern the event publishes.

It names four: the Hyatt House Downtown Indianapolis at 130 South Pennsylvania Street, the Embassy Suites Plainfield / Indianapolis, the Hilton Garden Inn Indianapolis Airport and the Wyndham Indianapolis Airport.
Sizing the Sunday checkout queue
The Saturday programme ends at 10:00 p.m. with the tailgate, and checkout lands on Sunday morning. The room block ran three nights, from 24 to 27 September, so the Thursday, Friday and Saturday guests all check out inside the same Sunday morning window. Late-checkout capacity is the constraint to fix before the day.
The venue’s next listed home game is the Colts against the Houston Texans on 17 October with a 1:00 p.m. kick-off. The Indiana Convention Center publishes 7,100 hotel rooms in downtown Indianapolis and 4,700 rooms connected by skywalk.
Two venue rules apply to guests leaving the property for the stadium. The building runs cashless. A clear bag policy is in effect for this event.
