The Three Days
ATD OrgDev runs 29 September to 1 October at the Indiana Convention Center. The organiser, the Association for Talent Development, publishes those dates on its own site. The venue publisher forecasts 1,000 attendees and gives the room set as Sagamore 1-7.
The venue page's body line reads 30 September to 1 October. Its title block and both date spans read 29 September to 1 October, and the organiser's own site publishes three days. Thursday 1 October is the third day.
Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday and closes at 6:00 p.m. On Wednesday it opens at 7:00 a.m. and closes at 6:00 p.m. On Thursday it opens at 7:00 a.m. and closes at 12:30 p.m. Those three windows set the front desk week.
Tuesday
Breakfast runs 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. A general session runs 9:00 to 10:00. Concurrent sessions run 10:15 to 11:15. Lunch and Learn runs 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Concurrent sessions run 1:30 to 2:30. A break runs 2:30 to 3:00. Concurrent sessions run 3:00 to 4:00. A closing general session runs 4:15 to 5:15.
The reset sits between 10:00 and 10:15. Fifteen minutes covers the turn out of the general session into seven concurrent rooms, and the same fifteen minutes covers the set, the water and the coffee.
Tuesday holds three concurrent-session blocks, one 105-minute lunch window and one 30-minute break.
Wednesday
Registration opens at 7:00 a.m., half an hour earlier than Tuesday. Breakfast runs 8:30 to 9:00. A breakfast panel runs 9:00 to 10:00. Concurrent sessions run 10:15 to 11:15. A networking lunch runs 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Solution sessions run 1:00 to 1:45. Concurrent sessions run 2:00 to 3:00. A break runs 3:00 to 3:30. Concurrent sessions run 3:30 to 4:30. A reception runs 4:30 to 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday is the long day. Registration is open 11 hours and the programme runs from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. It holds three concurrent-session blocks, a 75-minute lunch, a 45-minute solution block and a 90-minute reception. The 10:00-to-10:15 reset repeats.
The Room Set and the Coffee
The venue publisher gives the OrgDev location as Sagamore 1-7. The organiser's schedule runs eight concurrent-session blocks across the three days: three on Tuesday, three on Wednesday and two on Thursday. Seven rooms carry those blocks.
The organiser publishes no exhibit-hall hours for this event. Wednesday's 1:00 p.m. Solution Sessions block is the only sponsored space the schedule names.
Food and beverage windows total nine. Three breakfasts run 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. Three breaks run 30 minutes each. Two lunches run 105 minutes and 75 minutes. One reception runs 90 minutes. For the coffee station that is three fixed 30-minute morning services on consecutive days, three shorter breaks and two lunches.
Thursday and the Release
Thursday's registration closes at 12:30 p.m. Concurrent sessions run 9:15 to 10:15, a break runs 10:15 to 10:45, concurrent sessions run 10:45 to 11:45, and the conference wrap-up runs 12:00 to 12:30 p.m.
Thursday afternoon is the checkout block. The widest airline window the organiser publishes, Delta's, runs from 24 September to 6 October and covers a Thursday departure.
What the Building Does That Week
29 September is a three-way move-in day at the Indiana Convention Center. The venue calendar lists the MAPP Benchmarking and Best Practices Conference, ATD Core4 and ATD OrgDev across the same three days. It lists 12 events between 22 September and 15 October.
The Do it Best Corp. Fall Market runs 25 to 28 September in the same building. Its own site counts 9,300-plus attendees. The venue publisher forecasts 12,000 for the same show.
The rooms division inherits the changeover. Downtown Indianapolis holds 7,100 hotel rooms and 4,700 of them connect to the Center by skywalk, per the venue's own published counts.
The Block
The organiser publishes two hotels at $195 a night plus taxes and fees, available through 3 September 2026, based on availability: the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis at 1 S Capitol Ave and The Westin Indianapolis at 241 W Washington Street. Both connect to the Center.
Visit Indy's connected-hotels page lists the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis at 499 guest rooms and The Westin Indianapolis at 575, or 1,074 rooms across the two block properties. Those figures are full property inventory. The block size is not published.
Both hotels sit on the skywalk system. A delegate walks from the room to the session, and the room-attendant route runs between two buildings.
The Cost Side
CBRE Hotels Research puts food and beverage labour at 59.4 percent of F&B department expenses across 2,669 U.S. full-service, resort and convention hotels. Its convention-hotel banquet revenue fell 7.3 percent in the first half of 2025. Food and beverage revenue per occupied room rose 3.8 percent.
Three breakfasts at 8:30 a.m., three breaks, two lunches and a 90-minute reception are the windows the labour line answers to.
The organiser publishes no session-by-session grid. Its agenda page directs readers to check back for schedule updates, and its about page states that credit details will be available when the full session schedule is released. No breakout count, no per-room seat count and no general-session hall can be quoted for this event.
