Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club widened its reservation partnership with Travel Outlook from overflow call support to reservation call support across the resort. The two parties announced the change on 17 September 2026 in a release datelined Brewster, Massachusetts.
Travel Outlook runs an off-site central reservations office. The vendor describes that service as a primary or an overflow reservations department for hotels. The resort bought the overflow product first and now routes its calls across the property.
What the resort handed over
The relationship is two years old. It began with the calls the resort desk could not answer at peak. The release states that the scope grew alongside the relationship.
Ocean Edge spans 429 acres in Brewster. The resort counts 362 rooms across three settings: the AAA Four-Diamond Mansion, The Villages with one-, two- and three-bedroom villas, and an adults-only inn called The Charm. Charm on Main sits in downtown Brewster and extends access to the resort's amenities.
Three room products, one desk
Each setting sells a different stay. A Mansion booking carries Historic Hotels of America and Small Luxury Hotels of the World affiliations. The Villages sell longer stays with villa kitchens. The Charm sells an adults-only room.
The release names families on a Cape Cod vacation, couples on a wellness weekend, golfers and cyclists riding the Cape Cod Rail Trail as the callers the desk handles. Bay Pines Collection villas sit steps from the private Bay Pines Beach.
Kyung Lee, the resort's general manager, said the best stay begins with understanding what matters to each individual guest.
The training the vendor sells
Travel Outlook trains specialists on the brand of each property it represents. The release lists customized training and ongoing mystery-shop evaluation. It also states that the vendor renewed its Kennedy Training Network certification in 2026 for the 15th consecutive year. The vendor's own site states that its reservation agents are certified by Forbes and by the Kennedy Training Network.
The release names a voice agent called Annette, The Virtual Hotel Agent, and states that the tool increases conversion rates on voice channels. That claim is the vendor's own. The vendor's site states that Annette can answer up to 60 percent of front-desk calls.
What the award record shows
In the 2026 USA TODAY 10Best Readers' Choice Awards the resort took the number 8 position among Best Destination Resorts in the United States. The Beach House Spa took number 6 among the nation's Best Hotel Spas. Both The Mansion and The Villages appear in the Top 20 Resorts in New England list published in Conde Nast Traveler's 2025 Readers' Choice Awards.
The property a caller is buying
The amenity list covers a private beach, five pools, nine tennis and pickleball courts, multiple restaurants, kayaking, 26 miles of biking and hiking trails, seasonal oyster bed tours, the year-round Beach House Spa and the Cape's only Nicklaus Design golf course, reserved for resort guests and members. The release also names the Brewster Flats, an infrared retreat room and the Cape Cod Rail Trail.
What the release leaves out
The release publishes no call volume, no conversion rate, no revenue figure tied to the vendor and no share of bookings the call center takes. It also omits the contract length and the number of specialists assigned to the resort.
The client list in the vendor's boilerplate names Viceroy Hotel Group, Curator Hotels and Resorts, Outrigger, KSL Resorts, Proper Hospitality Group, Atlantis, The Irvine Company, Sage Hospitality, Noble House Hotels, HEI Hotels and Pyramid Global.
