Marriott Sells Bonvoy Points at 0.81 Cents Through 23 November

Marriott Bonvoy is selling points with a bonus of up to 55 percent through 23 November 2026. The top tier prices points at 0.81 cents each, and bonus points sit outside the member's 200,000-point annual purchase cap.

The offer and the deadline

Marriott Bonvoy is selling points with a bonus of up to 55 percent. The window closes at 11:59 p.m. EST on 23 November 2026. A member at the top tier pays 0.81 cents a point.

AwardWallet reported the sale on 29 September 2026 and carries the promotion's key terms.

The bonus tiers

A purchase of 1,000 points carries no bonus and costs 1.25 cents a point. Marriott sets 1,000 points as the minimum purchase.

A purchase of 2,000 points or more carries the 55 percent bonus and costs 0.81 cents a point. A member who sees the top tier buys up to the 200,000-point annual limit at that rate.

Bonvoy targets the offer per member. Each member sees their own tier at purchase.

The purchase rules

Members may buy up to 200,000 points a year. Bonus points from this promotion sit outside that limit, so the bonus lands on top of the annual cap.

Marriott states that purchased points post within 72 hours. AwardWallet's user data puts the average at six hours.

New Bonvoy members wait 30 days after enrolment before they can buy points.

Points.com processes the transaction. AwardWallet reports that a card paying a bonus rate on travel purchases will most likely not earn that rate here, because Points.com takes the payment.

The airline transfer rate

Bonvoy points transfer to nearly 40 airlines. Most transfers run at 3:1 with a 5,000-mile bonus on a transfer of 60,000 points. A 60,000-point transfer produces 25,000 miles, which works out at 1.95 cents a mile at the promotion price. American, Delta and Avianca sit outside the 5,000-mile bonus.

United MileagePlus adds 10,000 bonus miles to a transfer of at least 60,000 Bonvoy points. The same transfer yields 30,000 United miles, which works out at 1.63 cents a mile.

One purchase worked through

Marriott's base price is 1.25 cents a point. A purchase of 39,000 points costs $487.50. The 55 percent bonus lifts the balance to 60,450 points, which funds a 60,000-point airline transfer with 450 points left over.

What it changes for a hotel team

The promotion adds a route for a member to fund a redemption. Published rates and base earning rules stay as they are, and the purchase decision sits with the member. Marriott moved Bonvoy award pricing to dynamic rates in March 2022, so award prices move with demand and change from day to day.
