The Window The IHSAA Publishes
The Indiana High School Athletic Association lists its 2026-27 girls swimming and diving state finals on Feb. 12-13, 2027. Feb. 12 is a Friday and Feb. 13 is a Saturday. The same season calendar places first practice on Oct. 26, first contest on Nov. 9, sectionals on Feb. 4 and Feb. 6, and diving regionals on Feb. 9.
The site is the IU Natatorium at IU Indianapolis, 901 W. New York St. The venue's events calendar lists "12-13 IHSAA Girls Swimming & Diving Championships" under February 2027. The calendar carries an updated 9/2/2026 stamp.
Two Nights, Friday First
A Friday arrival and a Sunday departure is two nights. The 2025-26 edition of the same meet set the arrival clock. Gates opened at 4:30 p.m. ET on the Friday. Swimming preliminaries started at 6 p.m. ET.
The Saturday held two sessions. Gates opened at 6:45 a.m. ET. Diving preliminaries and semifinals ran at 9 a.m. ET. The championship and consolation finals in all swimming events ran at 1 p.m. ET, with the diving finals.
The IHSAA's 2026-27 tournament page returns a 404. The gate times, the session count and the ticket terms for February 2027 stay unpublished at this date.
The Weekends Around It
The Natatorium's calendar carries four bookings across four consecutive February 2027 weekends. The Jaguar Aquatics Winter Invitational takes Feb. 5-7. The IHSAA girls championships take Feb. 12-13. The Horizon League Swimming & Diving Championships take Feb. 17-20. The IHSAA boys championships take Feb. 26-27.
Five days separate the Jaguar close on Feb. 7 from the IHSAA girls open on Feb. 12. Four days separate the girls close on Feb. 13 from the Horizon League open on Feb. 17. Six days separate the Horizon League close on Feb. 20 from the IHSAA boys open on Feb. 26.
The Jaguar weekend runs Friday through Sunday. No 2027 field list is published for it.
What A Rate Can Be Set Against
Neither meet carries a published lodging rate. The IHSAA publishes a spectator ticket price. The venue publishes no room rate.
Engine's Indianapolis page carries the citywide reference: $128 per night across 1.2 million public rate observations from May 2024 to April 2026. February averages $107, which is 16 percent below the city average. May averages $158, which is 23 percent above it. Engine labels each figure a par rate, the cheapest publicly available price a hotel offered at the moment of a live search. The observations come from searches made 10 to 180 days before check-in.
A revenue manager sets the Friday-first window against the Jaguar weekend that closes five days earlier. That comparison carries the two arrival clocks and no published rate on either side.
The Supply Change Inside The Month
Signia by Hilton Indianapolis accepts reservations for stays beginning Feb. 1, 2027. That is 11 days before the IHSAA girls open on Feb. 12. The Indiana Convention Center's news item gives the hotel 800 rooms, seven dining experiences and Indiana's largest ballroom, and calls it the Center's newest headquarters hotel.
Visit Indy's connected-hotels page gives the same property 803 rooms, 235,000 square feet of meeting space and a 50,000-square-foot ballroom. The two room counts sit on two publishers.
Visit Indy's downtown page carries more than 9,400 hotel rooms downtown and 5,200 rooms connected to the Indiana Convention Center. The Indiana Convention Center's site lists 7,100 hotel rooms in downtown Indianapolis and 4,700 rooms connected by skywalk. Read each count with its publisher.
What The Front Desk Carries
The Natatorium's parking page states that campus parking is controlled and operated by IU Indianapolis Parking and Transportation Services. The page names the sports garage as the most convenient option.
The Sports Complex Garage connects to the Natatorium building. Garage rates run from $5.00 for up to two hours to $18.00 for 12 to 24 hours. A lost ticket carries an $18.00 charge.
Natatorium and Carroll Stadium patrons can buy a monthly permit for $35 at the Pro Shop desk on the lower level. The stairs to that level sit on the east side of the building near the parking garage entrance.
The Shape Of The Month
Four February bookings, four consecutive weekends, one pool. The district finals hold the second of them. The 2025-26 edition put the Friday preliminaries at 6 p.m. ET and the Saturday finals at 1 p.m. ET.
