Hilton cardholders get 10,000 points on a three-night stay
Hilton Honors is paying 10,000 bonus points on a paid stay of three nights or more for members who hold a US Basic Hilton Honors American Express card and register before they book. The booking window closes on 9 November 2026. The stay has to be completed by 3 January 2027.
The 10,000-point mechanic
Hilton's offer terms define the award. An eligible card member earns 10,000 Hilton Honors bonus points after completing one eligible stay of at least three consecutive nights at a participating hotel in the Hilton portfolio. The offer pays one time only. The terms call the award the Card Member Bonus.
Who qualifies
The first clause of the terms reads: "This offer is available to U.S. Basic Hilton Honors American Express Card Members only." The same page then lists four eligible cards. They are the Hilton Honors American Express Card, the Hilton Honors American Express Surpass Card, the Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card and the Hilton Honors American Express Business Card. Hilton carries both lines on the offer page.
Four further conditions apply. The card member's account must be in good standing. The member needs an active Hilton Honors account. The registration has to happen before the booking. The stay has to be booked and paid in full with the Hilton Honors American Express card.
The two windows
The booking window runs from 28 September 2026 at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time to 9 November 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. It covers new reservations of at least three consecutive nights. Eligible stays must be completed between 28 September 2026 and 3 January 2027.
A minimum advance booking of seven days may be required at select participating hotels.
The three-night floor and the thirteen-night cap
Three consecutive nights is the floor at every participating hotel. At Homewood Suites, Home2 Suites and LivSmart Studios the stay must run to at least three nights and may not exceed thirteen.
Book direct at a public rate
The terms define an eligible stay as a new reservation booked through an official Hilton channel. The channels are Hilton.com, the Hilton Honors mobile app and Hilton Reservations on +1-800-HONORS. The rate has to be a publicly available retail rate. Wholesale and package rates, opaque and bundled rates, employee and friends-and-family rates, and third-party or non-public rates fall outside the offer.
What does not qualify
Existing reservations and group bookings do not qualify. The terms define a group booking as a contracted block of rooms for a set date. Bookings made through online travel agencies or other distributors do not qualify. Point redemption stays do not qualify. That covers a stay paid in whole or in part with points and a Free Night Reward stay. A cancelled reservation forfeits the bonus.
Two counting rules apply. Back-to-back reservations at the same hotel count as one stay, even when booked separately. One room per stay counts toward the promotion, whatever the number of rooms on the booking.
How it stacks with the global promotion
Hilton's separate global promotion runs under the name More Points to Play. Registration is at HiltonHonors.com/MorePointstoPlay. It pays 3,000 bonus points on stays at Hilton's luxury, lifestyle, resort and all-inclusive hotels and 1,000 bonus points on stays at any other Hilton property. Its terms set no cap on the total a member can earn.
The card member offer's own combinability clause permits the stack. It reads that the offer can be combined with Amex Offers and other Hilton promotions available to the eligible card member. The same clause bars combination with the Future Journey Benefit, Explora Journeys promotions, the Journey Together and Gathering programs, corporate and incentive group bookings, open deposit bookings, and other reduced or non-public rates.
The global promotion carries its own window. Its terms apply to stays completed between 15 October and 31 December 2026, so a combined award needs the stay inside those dates. Its terms also state that its bonus points do not count toward elite tier qualification.
What the offer asks of a hotel team
Registration has to precede the booking, and the terms bar a stay booked before it. The award pays once per card member, and one room per stay counts, whatever the number of rooms on the booking.
The terms bar existing reservations and a contracted block of rooms for a set date. Both promotions allow six to eight weeks from the completion of the stay for the bonus points to post.
