Conrad Nagoya Sets a Harry Winston Holiday Tea

Conrad Nagoya will run Harry Winston's Holiday Afternoon Tea from 2 November to 27 December 2026 at Sundrop, the lobby lounge and bar on level 31. The hotel announced the collaboration on 29 September 2026. The tea runs alongside the First Bloom afternoon tea that Sundrop serves now.

Conrad Nagoya opened on 31 July 2026 in the Sakae district of Nagoya. TTG Asia reported the collaboration on 9 October, and the hotel's plan page carries the booking.

The Menu and the Prices

The hotel's release names the pastries: an HW macaron with Christmas spice, a Ruby Velvet cube of dark chocolate and raspberry, a matcha Christmas mont blanc, a Champagne Glow with strawberry and Champagne jelly, a Golden Financier and a Holiday Sparkle. The savoury set runs Winter Snow with cauliflower mousse and caviar, a beetroot tartlet with Toyoda Fabel Migawa cheese, and a Truffle Nocturne with butternut veloute and black truffle.

The published price is 9,000 yen a person, tax and service included. The plan with a welcome sparkling wine runs 12,000 yen. Afternoon tea service runs 12:00 to 17:30 with the last order at 15:00, and an evening tea runs 18:00 to 20:30 in a single sitting for 10 guests.

The tea runs by reservation, with booking required by 9am on the day. The hotel carries one cancellation term: the sparkling plan charges 100 per cent from 20:00 on the previous day.

What the General Manager Reports

Markus Kosch, the hotel's general manager, reports that proposals, weddings and anniversary parties have drawn local bookings across the hotel's first two months. He names birthdays and gatherings with friends among the other local visits and points to the dining rooms as the draw. Kosch reports several wedding bookings with no wedding chapel on site.

Kosch places Nagoya third in Japan for wedding spend after Tokyo and Osaka. That is his own framing, and no occupancy, event count or revenue figure sits behind the two-month booking report.

The Tea Running Now

First Bloom is the tea Sundrop serves now. Kosch describes a menu built on tea and flowers, with desserts carrying flower essences or colours. TTG Asia puts the selection at 25 Japanese teas on free-flow.

The Property and Its Rooms

Conrad Nagoya holds 170 guest rooms, including 29 suites, each above 50 square metres. The hotel occupies the upper floors of The Landmark Nagoya Sakae, the tallest skyscraper in the Sakae district, and connects directly to Sakae Station. Mitsubishi Estate owns the property.

Six restaurants and bars run across levels 31 and 40: Sundrop, Casa Oliva, Songbird, Soryu, Soen and House of Mon. Casa Oliva carries a wine list of more than 100 Italian labels. Songbird serves specialty coffee, pastries and seasonal sweets. Soryu presents sushi kaiseki on level 40 and Soen serves teppan kaiseki beside it. Wedding banquets run in the Grand Ballroom, and ceremonies have used House of Mon, the rooftop bar, for its city views.

The Brand Behind the Address

Kosch credits the Conrad name for part of the local draw. He points to Conrad Tokyo, which opened in 2005, and Conrad Osaka, which opened in 2017, as the properties that built the brand's standing with Japanese guests for high-end weddings. His own phrasing rounds the two tenures to 20 years and 10 years. Hilton counts 51 Conrad hotels across five continents.

Park Hyatt Tokyo ran a Harry Winston afternoon tea from 11 May to 12 July 2026.
