A delegate arriving Monday 7 December and leaving Saturday 12 December books five nights. All five are weeknights.
Engine's citywide series, built on 3.1 million public rate observations from May 2024 to April 2026, prices San Francisco at $165 a night and puts December at $129, the lowest month on its ladder. November reads $147, 11 percent under the city average. March reads $197, 19 percent over it. Engine records a 35 percent gap between the cheapest month and the priciest. The series counts par rates, the cheapest publicly available price at each search, and excludes negotiated and booked rates.
The terms that decide the pickup
The AGU26 block runs through Maritz, the meeting's official registration and housing vendor. Housing can be selected through the portal until 19 November 2026, which is 18 days before the 7 December arrival.
The exhibitor housing guide carries the guarantee rule. A reservation without a credit card guarantee inside one hour returns to inventory, and the guide records that the room may not be available at a later date.
What the house sees on the release date
The block returns unpicked inventory on 19 November. The house holds 18 days to sell those rooms before arrival.
AGU publishes no rate for the block. The nightly figures sit behind an authenticated booking session, and the venue's event page carries no hotel, rate or attendance figure.
