Youth Fair's 21 Open Days and Four Shut Dates

The 2027 Youth Fair runs 21 open days from 18 March to 11 April, with four Monday-Tuesday closures. Two five-day blocks carry five service days a week, and eight weekend days carry the room load.

The Youth Fair runs 25 calendar days in 2027, from Thursday 18 March to Sunday 11 April. Four of those days close: Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 March, then Monday 5 and Tuesday 6 April. The open count is 21, the figure the organiser, Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition, prints on its own about page.

The shape of the run

The fair opens on eleven consecutive days, 18 to 28 March. The pattern then runs a five-day block, a two-day stop, a five-day block, a two-day stop, and a five-day finish from 7 to 11 April.

Both stops are Monday and Tuesday pairs. A block that runs Wednesday to Sunday leaves the next Monday and Tuesday shut. The only open Monday is 22 March. The only open Tuesday is 23 March. Both sit in the opening week.

The day mix across the 21 open days is four Saturdays, four Sundays, four Thursdays, four Fridays, three Wednesdays, one Monday and one Tuesday.

Four dates a rota can be built around

Hold 29 and 30 March and 5 and 6 April for scheduled maintenance, carpet work and deep cleans. The gates are shut on those four dates. Confirm a contractor booking with the venue first, because a private rental does not appear on the public event listing.

Weeks two and three trade Wednesday to Sunday. That gives five service days a week on two consecutive weeks.

Eight weekend days

Eight open days are Saturdays or Sundays: 20 and 21 March, 27 and 28 March, 3 and 4 April, 10 and 11 April. The run ends on a Sunday, so the last departures fall on Monday 12 April.

Wednesday is the thinnest weekday in the run at three open dates. Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday each carry four.

The scale figures

The 2027 edition is the 75th. The organiser prints "75th Anniversary" on its own 2027 pages. The about page ranks the fair among the top 35 in North America and reports more than 500,000 guests in 2025. It counts 80+ rides and 44,500+ students exhibiting through Miami-Dade County Public Schools.

The rides page lists three ride areas: Majorland, Kiddieland and Kiddieland Too. Its food section counts more than 150 stands. The grounds also trade as Fair Expo Center for the rest of the year, at more than 80 shows and events on the about page's count.

Five weekday mornings that move the gate

Five open days carry a school field trip window from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Friday 19 March, Friday 2 April, Wednesday 7 April, Thursday 8 April and Friday 9 April. Admission is free for students, teachers and chaperones in kindergarten through grade 8. Entertainment shows stay closed on those days. Private vehicles, backpacks and strollers are barred. Wheelchair, stroller, scooter and wagon rentals stop for the window.

That is a four-hour coach window on five weekdays. The 9 April window takes exceptional students, with select rides at reduced speeds and limited concessions.

What the organiser has not published

The site carries no gate hours for 2027. The buy-tickets page, the know-before-you-go page and the live music page each read "We'll be back with something big". No 2027 admission price is posted. No concert lineup is posted. No per-day attendance figure is posted, so the 500,000 figure carries no weekday or weekend split.

The one price the site carries is the $15 field trip ride wristband, on sale from 27 November 2026.

The calendar fixes the dates. Hours and prices stay open.

The gate and the addresses

The grounds sit at 10901 Coral Way, also written 10901 SW 24th Street, Miami, Florida 33165, in University Park near Westchester. Five vehicle entrances are posted: SW 112th Avenue and Coral Way, SW 114th Avenue and Coral Way, SW 22nd Street and 117th Avenue, SW 21st Street and 117th Avenue, and SW 107th Avenue and SW 17th Street. Rideshare pickup and drop-off runs from Coral Way and SW 112th Avenue. The handicap drop-off sits in front of the main entrance. The organiser's number is 305.223.7060.

What the desk can set now

Three items. The restriction calendar for 29 and 30 March and 5 and 6 April. Rosters for the two five-day blocks, drawn on Wednesday-to-Sunday coverage. Breakfast staffing for eight weekend mornings, the last pair on 10 and 11 April.

Two items wait on the organiser. Gate hours set the arrival curve at the front desk. The 2027 admission price is the other figure the desk will be asked for.
