Winter FancyFaire 2027 runs Sunday 17 January to Tuesday 19 January at Moscone Center, 747 Howard Street, San Francisco. The Specialty Food Association publishes the show hours on its event page. Sunday 17 and Monday 18 run 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pacific. Tuesday 19 runs 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Every hall opens at 9.30 a.m. for buyer badges.
The Block Prices One Night
The association runs its official hotel block with onPeak. Its Hotel and Travel page names onPeak "the only official hotel provider for 2027 Winter FancyFaire*" and carries the caption that fixes the rate basis: "Rates shown above are the lowest available nightly rates for the night of 01/18/2027."
That caption prices a single night, the Monday of the show. Every other night of the run carries its own quote.
The gallery lists fifteen San Francisco properties. Thirteen carried a rate and a room line on a gate read of 15 October 2026. The band across the thirteen runs from $169 at Hotel Abri - Union Square to $299 at the Palace Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, San Francisco.
Two cards read UNAVAILABLE with the room line "Up to 0 rooms available". The St. Regis San Francisco reads $435 at 0.2 miles. W San Francisco reads $289 at 0.1 miles. Those two carry the two shortest distances on the list.
Twelve Thousand Attendees, Four Thousand Buyers
The "Who Attends Winter FancyFaire*" stat block carries the headcount: 12,000+ industry professionals, 4,000+ buyer attendees and 1,835 key buyers. The same block reads 1,000+ exhibitors, 310 first-time exhibitors and 135,450 square feet.
The exhibit page states the buying profile. More than 60 percent of attendees are buyers. 63 percent are verified buyers. The organiser puts the share who make or recommend purchases at 90 percent. It puts the share representing companies with annual revenue over $5 million at 55 percent.
Three Nights and Two Shoulders
Badge pick-up runs 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday 16 January in the Moscone Center Lobby. The desk opens at 8 a.m. on each show day. It closes at 4 p.m. on Sunday and Monday and at 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
A buyer who works all three show days checks in on Saturday 16 January and checks out on Tuesday 19 January. That plan holds three nights: Saturday, Sunday and Monday. A buyer who gives up the Sunday morning opening arrives on Sunday and leaves on Tuesday, which is two nights.
The Tuesday floor closes at 3 p.m. The schedule page publishes a Tuesday badge window of 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and no evening programme for that day.
Saturday 16 January carries two evening rows. The Campus Tasting Trail runs 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at a Mano. The Buyer Welcome Reception runs 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The Room Ceiling Behind the Cards
Eleven of the thirteen bookable cards publish "Up to 20 rooms available". JW Marriott San Francisco Union Square publishes 15. San Francisco Marriott Marquis carries a line of 13. The thirteen lines total 248 rooms a night.
onPeak's help page states the supply rule: rooms "are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis". The Hotel and Travel page publishes no cut-off date. Its only timing instruction reads, "We encourage you to book through them early for the best selection and price."
The City Base Under the Quote
Engine's San Francisco page puts the city average at $165 a night across 3.1 million public rate observations from May 2024 to April 2026. January averages $166, one percent above the city figure. December reads $129 and March $197. 35 percent separates the cheapest month from the priciest.
Engine defines those figures as par rates: the cheapest publicly available price at the time of each search.
The block's $169 floor sits 2 percent above the $166 January average. The $299 ceiling sits 80 percent above it. Six of the thirteen properties sit within half a mile of the hall, and the widest distance on the list is 0.8 miles.
The Warning the Association Prints
The Hotel and Travel page carries its own caution: "onPeak is the only hotel provider endorsed by 2027 Winter FancyFaire*." The same paragraph adds that other third-party companies offering hotel assistance are not endorsed by the event, and that financial agreements with them "can have costly consequences".
Bookings run from one landing page at compass.onpeak.com/e/012607897.
What the Record Leaves Open
The block publishes no cut-off, no per-property room count and no contract term. The gallery refused a scripted read on 16 October 2026, when a plain request returned the reservation system's timed-out redirect. The thirteen rates, the two zero lines and the room caps rest on the 15 October 2026 gate read.
Ask onPeak for the block's cut-off and its room-night total. Neither figure appears on any page the association publishes. Then price the January nights from each property's own pick-up pace.
