One list, thirty-six names, two prices that matter
The PRI Show publishes its own Hotel List & Map for the 10 to 12 December 2026 run at the Indiana Convention Center. The list names 36 Indianapolis properties. Thirty-five of them carry a starting rate, and the band runs from $161.00 at the Holiday Inn Indianapolis Downtown to $299.00 at the InterContinental Indianapolis. The document states what those figures are: starting room prices in US dollars, non-inclusive of local sales and occupancy taxes, varying by room type and occupancy and subject to availability and the pricing published at the time of booking.
The median of the 35 published rates is $201.00 and the mean is $207.14. Seven properties sit below $190.00, twenty-two between $190.00 and $230.00, and six above $230.00. The Signa by Hilton Indianapolis entry carries no rate and reads Coming 2027.
What a three-night stay costs at each end
A Thursday arrival and a Sunday departure is three nights. At the ladder floor that is $483.00 before tax and $565.11 at the 17 percent rate the housing portal applies. At the ceiling it is $897.00 and $1,049.49. The gap between the two ends of the same three-night stay is $414.00 before tax and $484.38 with it.
The ladder is not sorted by distance
The list runs alphabetically and prices by product. Both the floor and the ceiling sit two blocks from the hall. The seven two-block properties run from $161.00 to $299.00 with a median of $169.00. The one-block entry is the Omni Severin Hotel at $207.00. The single property past a mile is the Bottleworks Hotel at $242.00. Eleven properties carry the skywalk marker, which the document defines as connected via elevated skywalk and typically one to two blocks out. Twenty-five of the 36 sit within four blocks or on the skywalk.
What the terms move at the front desk
Booking through the official block carries no deposit, free in-room Wi-Fi and loyalty points honored under each property's programme rules. The portal publishes the tax basis the ladder leaves out: room rates are subject to state and local taxes, and its rate line reads 17 percent. The dates behind the desk carry more weight than the rates. Reservation cancellations and guest room updates are due by 16 October 2026, and a reservation cancelled in full after that date draws a $50 fee. Name, date and credit card changes must be submitted before 13 November 2026. After that date the organiser states that discounted show rates are no longer guaranteed and that changes are subject to the property's current rack rate. Every room must be secured with a credit card whose expiry falls later than 13 December 2026. The properties carry a 72-hour cancellation policy with a 3:00 p.m. EST cut-off, after which one night's room and tax is charged.
The outer ring on the gate's own read
The booking portal answered a 10 to 13 December search on 25 September 2026 with seven properties, all at the airport or in Plainfield, and no downtown room. The rendered starting rates run from $144.00 at Hyatt Place Indianapolis Airport to $184.00 at Embassy Suites Plainfield, and every one of them sits below the printed ladder floor: Hyatt Place $144.00, Fairfield Inn & Suites and Residence Inn by Marriott at $149.00 each, Wyndham Indianapolis Airport $151.00, Crowne Plaza Indianapolis Airport $154.00, Delta Hotels by Marriott $168.00 and Embassy Suites Plainfield $184.00. The distances run 6.90 miles to 15 miles. Crowne Plaza priced a king room at $154.00 a night flat across 10, 11 and 12 December, with a $462.00 subtotal and $78.54 of room tax on a three-night stay.
The published scale behind the room count
The organiser's attend page reads 40,000-plus motorsports professionals and 1,000-plus exhibitors. Its FAQ reads over 1,000 exhibiting companies in 3,000-plus booths, with attendees from 72 countries. The venue's own event record forecasts 67,500 and describes more than 1,000 exhibiting companies across more than 750,000 gross square feet. Badges are tiered by date: $45.00 from 21 July to 2 October, $55.00 from 3 October to 9 December and $65.00 on show days. Membership is no longer required for 2026, and the show remains trade-only.
The shuttle schedule
A complimentary shuttle serves the airport and Plainfield properties. Pick-up is curbside on Maryland Street, and turnarounds run about every 30 minutes at peak. Thursday 10 December service runs 6:00 to 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday 11 December 7:00 to 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., and Saturday 12 December 7:00 to 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. No service runs between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, or between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Route 1 covers Wyndham Airport, Delta Hotel Airport, Hyatt Place Airport and one stop shared by Residence Inn and Fairfield Inn at 5220 W. Southern Avenue. Route 2 covers Embassy Suites Plainfield at 6089 Clarks Creek Road and Crowne Plaza Indianapolis Airport at 2501 South High School Road. ADA requests go to 317-525-7600.
What the ladder leaves open
It carries starting rates and nothing binding: no block size per property, no room-night commitment, no pickup pace and no attrition term. A revenue manager can price the three-night pattern at any point on the ladder, and the floor sits $138.00 below the ceiling on a one-night basis.
