Eight public days in two runs
The Ford 72nd Annual Indianapolis Boat, Sport & Travel Show runs at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, 1202 East 38th Street, from Friday 19 February to Sunday 28 February 2027. The organiser publishes eight public days inside that window. The venue's own event page publishes the same eight days.
The eight days sit in two runs. The first runs Friday 19 to Sunday 21 February. The second runs Wednesday 24 to Sunday 28 February. Monday 22 and Tuesday 23 sit dark between them.
Three opening clocks and three closing clocks
The show publishes three door times and three closing times across the eight days.
Friday 19 February opens at 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday open at 10 a.m. Wednesday 24, Thursday 25 and Friday 26 February open at noon.
Friday and Saturday close at 8 p.m. Sunday closes at 5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday close at 7 p.m.
Three door clocks serve the eight days. The 1 p.m. door serves 19 February. The 10 a.m. door serves both Saturdays and both Sundays. The noon door serves 24, 25 and 26 February.
Both runs carry the 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday close and the 5 p.m. Sunday close. The 7 p.m. midweek close applies to the second run alone.
Sixty-three floor hours
The eight days carry 63 floor hours. The first run carries 24 hours across three days. The second run carries 39 hours across five days. The two midweek days, Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25, carry 14 hours between them.
The average show day runs 7.9 hours. Saturday 20 and Saturday 27 are the longest at 10 hours each. The two Sundays carry seven hours each.
Saturday 27 is the last long day of the run. Sunday 28 is the last day, and it closes at 5 p.m.
Two dark days
Monday 22 and Tuesday 23 February are closed. The show's own ten-day window therefore holds 48 shut calendar hours.
A guest who stays from the first run into the second holds the nights of Monday 22 and Tuesday 23 with no show floor on either date. The published grid carries no event programme for those two dates.
The arrival and departure waves
The first run opens on a 1 p.m. Friday door. A guest who wants the opening afternoon needs a room in the morning of 19 February, and the front desk carries a midday arrival wave that day.
Both Sundays close at 5 p.m. A guest who leaves after the Sunday floor departs in the early evening, and both Sunday closes put the departure wave at the same hour.
The second run opens at a noon Wednesday door. That door opens 67 hours after the last gate of the first run. A front desk reading the published grid sees one early-afternoon check-in day, one noon check-in day and two 10 a.m. weekend check-in days inside the ten-day window.
Five host properties with rates and stamps
The show's Official Show Lodging page names five host hotels and the Fairgrounds campground.
Best Western Fishers Indianapolis, 9790 North by Northeast Boulevard, runs $89 plus tax for a king room and $99 plus tax for two queens. Homewood Suites Indianapolis NW, 4140 West 94th Street, runs $119 and $124. SpringHill Suites Indianapolis Fishers, 9698 Hague Road, runs $99 and $104. Hilton Garden Inn Indianapolis Fishers, 9785 North by Northeast Boulevard, runs $126 and $136. Home2 Suites Indianapolis Keystone Crossing, 9104 Keystone Crossing, runs $99 and $104.
The page asks a guest to reference the Indy Boat Show or the Indy Sport Show for the rates. It carries a guaranteed-until date for each property. Those dates read 30 January 2026 for the Best Western, 1 February 2026 for the Homewood Suites and the SpringHill Suites, and 3 February 2026 for the Hilton Garden Inn and the Home2 Suites.
Each of those four dates sits in the year before the show. The 2027 block's own cut-off dates are unpublished.
The campground runs at $45.00 per night plus 7 percent sales tax, with a $2.50 booking fee per site and a $5 dump station. The page states that February carries an electrical hook-up only, because water and sewer sit shut off for the winter. It lists 50 sites and a reservations-required term.
The ticket terms that shape a return visit
The box office prices printed on the show's page carry a 2026 stamp: $16 for general admission, $10 for children aged 6 to 12, and free entry for children aged 5 and under. A 2-day ticket sells at $26.00 online and at the box office.
The 2-day ticket terms allow any two separate-day adult admissions with one entrant scan per day. Two separate days can sit either side of the two dark dates.
Group sales carry a 15-ticket minimum at $13.00 for an adult and $10.00 for a child, with orders routed to a named contact. The published order deadline reads 1 February 2026.
The overnight count stays unpublished
No attendance figure for the 2027 edition appears on the show's pages or on the venue's event page. The organiser publishes no room-night figure either.
The show reports over 750,000 square feet of exhibit space on its own home page. The venue's event page reports over 700,000 square feet. Each figure carries its own publisher.
Four buildings carry the floor: the Blue Ribbon Pavilion, the Champions Pavilion, the Corteva Coliseum and the West Pavilion. The venue lists a $10 facility charge per vehicle on the campus and shuttles on Saturdays and Sundays.
