The Offers IHG Runs Beside Its Global Promotion
AwardWallet keeps a standing page for IHG One Rewards promotions. The version published on 18 September 2026 lists the offers open that week. Skye Class wrote it, and Harrison Pierce reviewed it. Each offer carries its own registration link.
The global stay promotion is one line on the page. Four narrower offers run beside it: a new-member enrolment bonus, a regional Ruby Hotels offer, an invitation-only stay offer and a pair of co-brand card offers. Membership is free.
Three Thousand Points For A New Member
The enrolment offer pays 3,000 bonus points to a new member who books and completes a paid stay of at least one night. The nightly spend must reach $30, and the stay must fall inside 21 days of joining. Award stays do not count.
The offer runs to 31 December 2026. A member can claim it once, and bonus points post within six weeks of the stay.
Ten Thousand Points Every Two Ruby Nights
Ruby Hotels joined the IHG flag in February 2025 as its twentieth brand. The first Ruby promotion for members pays 10,000 bonus points for every two non-consecutive nights at Ruby properties in Europe. The earning window closes on 4 November 2026.
The two nights need not run back to back. The offer sets no cap on the points a member can collect, and each qualifying room night must be worth $30 or more. Reward Nights, Points plus Cash and third-party bookings sit outside the offer. Registration comes before the first Ruby stay.
The Fourteen Cities Behind The Ruby Offer
Six German cities sit in the list: Cologne, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich and Stuttgart. Vienna, Amsterdam, Geneva, Zurich, London, Dublin, Florence and Rome complete the fourteen. The fourteen sit across seven countries.
Twenty Thousand Points After Two Nights
A targeted offer pays 20,000 bonus points after two nights inside 60 days of registration. The page states that the two nights need not be consecutive, provided the second night lands inside the window.
IHG sends the invitation by email. A member can also find the offer inside an IHG One Rewards account, and the page records that a member without the email can try the registration link.
The Points A Member Can Buy
A member who wants elite status can buy up to 5,000 elite-qualifying points a night. The count depends on the property and the rate chosen.
IHG also sold points with a 100 percent bonus through 5 October 2026. The page names Holiday Inn Club Vacations as the programme’s timeshare arm.
The Two Cards On The Page
The IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card pays 180,000 bonus points after $3,000 in purchases inside three months, carries a $150 annual fee, and confers Gold Elite status with 15 Elite Night Credits a year. The no-fee IHG One Rewards Credit Card pays 125,000 bonus points after $2,000 in three months and confers Silver Elite status with 5 Elite Night Credits a year.
AwardWallet discloses that it receives compensation from card issuers and that the order of the offers can reflect that. The card blocks work as advertisement placements, and the figures inside them move with each issuer’s current offer.
The Ruby End Date The Page Carries
The page dates the Ruby offer to 4 November 2026. Upgraded Points dates the same offer to 24 July through 31 October with registration by 21 October, and LoyaltyLobby carries 21 October.
The page also names a targeted double Elite Night Credits offer and publishes no terms for it.
What The Quarter Hands A Revenue Desk
Each offer pays on a stay a member books inside IHG’s own channels. The enrolment bonus and the card offers add members to the programme. The Ruby offer pays on nights consumed at European Ruby properties. The global promotion pays 2X on IHG direct bookings and 3X on app bookings through 31 December 2026.
A revenue desk reads the set as a channel push that runs the length of the quarter. Registration gates each offer, and third-party stays earn nothing.
