Register Before the Stay
GHA DISCOVERY opened a D$ accelerator on 1 September 2026. A member who registers earns twice the DISCOVERY Dollars on eligible stays at thirteen newly added Minor Hotels properties. The opt-in window, the booking window and the stay window all run to 30 November 2026.
The order of the steps decides the award. A member registers inside the window, then books, then completes the stay. A booking made before 1 September 2026 does not count. A booking or a stay completed before the registration does not count, even inside the window.
What Doubles
The accelerator pays Promotional D$ in addition to the Base D$ that the stay already earns. GHA's programme page states that D$1 equals USD 1, and the currency spends on future stays, room upgrades, late check-out, dining and spa visits across the collection.
Base earning counts the Net Eligible Spend. GHA defines that as the revenue on the member's check-out folio, excluding taxes and service charges, excluding any amount paid with DISCOVERY Dollars, and excluding some outlet spending.
Nine Brands, Thirteen Properties
The offer runs across Anantara, Avani, Colbert Collection, iStay, Minor Reserve Collection, NH Hotels, NH Collection, Oaks and Tivoli.
The published list is Adriatic Istria Resort in Croatia; Anantara Tented Camp Kafue River in Zambia; Avani Mooloolaba Beach Hotel in Australia; Avani+ Lanexang Vientiane Hotel in Laos; Hotel Palace Portorož in Slovenia; iStay by NH Berlin City Ost Hotel in Germany; NH Collection Palacio de Córdoba in Spain; NH Guadalajara Studios in Mexico; NH Lagos Algarve Resort in Portugal; Oaks Auckland Hotel in New Zealand; Porta Rossa Hotel Firenze, Colbert Collection, in Italy; Tivoli La Vie Muscat Hotel & Residences in Oman; and Tivoli Palazzo 1880 Lecce Hotel in Italy.
The list can move. GHA states that participating properties are subject to change without notice, and that a property added after launch may join the offer for operational reasons.
Where the Booking Has to Be Made
GHA names the eligible channels: minorhotels.com, anantara.com, avanihotels.com, nh-hotels.com, oakshotels.com, tivolihotels.com, ghadiscovery.com and the GHA DISCOVERY app. A direct booking with the participating hotel by phone, email or the hotel's own official channel also qualifies.
The Ineligible-Rate List
The list covers third-party online retailer rates at Expedia, Booking.com, Hotels.com, Orbitz, Priceline and Travelocity. It covers bookings with tour operators, tour series rates and charter rates, airline crew rooms, travel-industry staff rates and other discounted rates, complimentary, free, traded and bartered nights, stays tied to gift certificates, awards or vouchers, and corporate and wholesale rates.
A first stay on an ineligible rate can receive DISCOVERY Dollars on a promotional basis, and it earns no tier credit. A later stay on an ineligible rate receives no D$ and no tier credit.
Two Rooms a Night, Six Months to Spend
A member earns promotional D$ on a maximum of two rooms per night. GHA assesses each booking and each stay on its own, and eligible spend does not combine across stays.
Promotional D$ carry a six-month expiry from the date of issue. That term stands outside the tier-based expiry rules that govern base D$. The award cannot be transferred or exchanged for other compensation, and it is not redeemable for cash. The offer cannot be combined with another promotion unless the terms state otherwise.
