Choice and Wyndham Points Sales Run Into Late October

Choice Privileges discounts points by up to 40 percent to 22 October and Wyndham Rewards pays up to a 90 percent bonus to 21 October, with three rival hotel offers already closed.

Two hotel points sales stay open into late October

Frequent Flyer Bonuses published its buy miles and points round-up on 25 September 2026. The post counts no fewer than 20 offers in the market. Its own list holds 20 entries: 15 for airline programs and five for hotel programs. Three of the five hotel offers have closed since publication. Two run into the third week of October.

A points purchase moves points into a member's account at a discount to the program's standard price. The discount sets the effective cost of each point.

Choice Privileges: up to 40 percent off, ending 22 October

Choice Privileges sells points with up to a 40 percent discount. The purchase minimum is 4,000 points. The offer ends 22 October 2026.

Choice publishes the transaction window in its terms. Purchases must be completed between 12 a.m. Eastern on 7 September 2026 and 11:59 p.m. Eastern on 22 October 2026. Members may buy up to 180,000 points per calendar year before any bonus applies.

LoyaltyLobby read the price at 0.72 US cents a point under a 30 percent discount. That figure is $7.20 per 1,000 points. A 40 percent discount puts the effective cost at 60 percent of the standard price.

Three limits sit in the terms. Purchased points do not count toward Elite Status or Lifetime Elite Gold Status. Transactions are final and non-refundable. The offer may not be valid for all members.

Canadian residents pay GST or HST on the purchase, and Quebec residents pay an additional QST charge.

Points post to the member's account within 24 hours of the completed transaction.

Wyndham Rewards: bonus tiers and the price per point

Wyndham Rewards pays a bonus on points bought through points.com. The offer ends 21 October 2026.

The round-up prints the tiers as a 60 percent bonus on purchases of 3,000 to 9,000 points, a 70 percent bonus on purchases of 10,000 to 15,000 points, and a 90 percent bonus on purchases of 16,000 points or more. Its top tier is 90 percent.

LoyaltyLobby reproduces a different tier set from the same offer. Its terms block reads a 50 percent bonus on 3,000 to 9,000 points, a 60 percent bonus on 10,000 to 15,000 points and an 80 percent bonus on 16,000 points or more. Its headline reads 70 to 100 percent. Its price read is 0.72 US cents a point under an 80 percent bonus, which is $7.20 per 1,000 points.

The bonus arithmetic follows the tier a member is offered. A 90 percent bonus on a 16,000-point purchase delivers 30,400 points. The effective cost falls to about 53 percent of the standard price.

Wyndham changed its award pricing on 15 September 2026. Bookings made before that date priced free nights at 7,500 to 30,000 points per bedroom. Bookings made on or after that date price free nights at 5,000 to 45,000 points per bedroom.

Points post within 72 hours of the completed transaction. Purchased points do not count toward Member Levels. Transactions through points.com are final and non-refundable. Canadian residents pay GST or HST, and Quebec residents pay an additional QST charge.

The three offers that closed on 25 September and 5 October

World of Hyatt took 20 percent off purchases of 3,000 points or more. The offer ran to 5 October 2026. A 20 percent discount puts the effective cost at 80 percent of the standard price.

Hilton Honors paid up to a 100 percent bonus on online purchases of 5,000 points or more. The offer ran to 25 September 2026.

The Leading Hotels of the World Leaders Club paid up to a 100 percent bonus. Its tiers were a 50 percent bonus on 2,000 to 11,000 points, a 75 percent bonus on 12,000 to 29,000 points and a 100 percent bonus on 30,000 to 50,000 points. The offer ran to 25 September 2026. A 100 percent bonus puts the effective cost at half the standard price.

The round-up carries an end date for every hotel offer in the block. The five end dates run from 25 September 2026 to 22 October 2026.

Caps, posting times and the combined-offer clauses

Choice caps purchases at 180,000 points a calendar year before bonuses, and sets a 4,000-point minimum on a single transaction.

Posting times differ by program. Choice posts within 24 hours. Wyndham posts within 72 hours.

Wyndham attaches a combined-offer clause to the purchase: the offer cannot be combined with any other offer. Only purchases made online are eligible. Choice attaches an eligibility clause: the offer may not be valid for all members.

Both programs state that purchased points carry no elite-status credit.

Redemption conditions on the two open sales

Choice states that reward nights are available at participating hotels only, and that Ascend Hotel Collection casino locations may not participate. Reward night stays are not commissionable to travel agents. Wyndham states that free nights and points-plus-cash nights are for standard rooms and are subject to availability.

Neither sale publishes a cash value for a point at redemption or a property list. The two open sales close a day apart, on 21 October and 22 October 2026.
