Liberty London opens a pop-up at The Florist

The Savoy has named Liberty London as its Christmas partner for 2026. The department store opens a pop-up at The Florist, the hotel’s floral and retail boutique, in early October. The Savoy’s release, A Christmas of Discovery at The Savoy, sets the pop-up as the first chapter of the season.

The season runs on a Jules Verne theme. The Savoy styled it around Around the World in 80 Days with Champagne Laurent-Perrier.

The product range

The pop-up carries Liberty London’s best-loved pieces in its signature prints. The range covers patterned silk scarves and ties, umbrellas, handbags and fragrances. The Florist is the hotel’s floral and retail boutique, led by creative floral design manager Belinda Bowles. The Savoy sits on The Strand, London WC2R 0EZ.

Under the partnership Liberty London supplies the product and runs the store. The Savoy provides the space inside The Florist.

The forecourt bar opens on 16 November

From Monday 16 November, the Savoy forecourt becomes a pop-up Champagne bar. The bar carries a hot air balloon centrepiece and plush seating. It serves Champagne, mulled wine and hot chocolate, and opens to London residents and to guests staying in the city.

The tree, the amenities and the dining

Liberty London takes over the hotel’s Christmas tree. The fourteen-foot tree stands in the Front Hall. Its botanical elements are drawn from the Adelphi Voyage archival Liberty print in burgundy and deep emerald green. Further hot air balloons run through the Front Hall and beyond, in an installation designed by Bowles.

Liberty London has also created a bathroom amenities collection for the hotel through LBTY Beauty. The range covers hand wash, shower gel and hand and body lotion in the Adelphi Sun fragrance. It debuts across the property’s 263 bedrooms and suites from late October, and The Florist sells the products to guests.

Gallery serves a limited-edition Afternoon Tea through the season, a four-course dinner on Christmas Day and a five-course menu on New Year’s Eve. A New Year’s Eve Gala closes the year with a Champagne reception, a five-course dinner and live entertainment.

What a hotel team runs here

The activation adds three elements a property team runs through the season: a retail tenant in The Florist, a forecourt bar with a published opening date, and an amenities line that reaches all 263 rooms. The Savoy pairs the seasonal work with the completion of its three-year renovation next March. Winter bookings can take the refurbished Art Deco and Edwardian bedrooms.
