Hilton Converts Two Riviera Maya Resorts to All-Inclusive
Hilton began selling all-inclusive stays at Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya and Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya on 1 October 2026. Both resorts sit on Mexico’s Caribbean coast. Dining, drinks and daily programming now sit inside the room rate.
Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya becomes an adults-only resort for registered guests aged 18 and older on 10 January 2027. Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya stays open to guests of every age and adds Ceiba Club on the same date, an adults-only section for registered guests aged 18 and older.
What the Rate Now Covers
Hilton’s release lists the inclusions at both properties. The rate carries 24-hour in-room dining and a minibar refreshed daily. It adds arrival amenities, poolside welcome moments and private round-trip airport transfers for eligible direct bookings.
The Waldorf covers transfers from Cancún International Airport. Conrad covers transfers from Cancún and Tulum international airports and pairs them with dedicated concierge support.
Eligible transient stays of four consecutive nights or longer carry one selected resort experience or destination excursion per stay. The Points Guy reports an open bar from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. with premium beverages, artisanal cocktails and sommelier-selected wines, plus daily activities and fitness centre access at no extra charge.
What Moves for the Room Team
The conversion puts food and beverage inside a fixed rate. The Waldorf’s included venues are Malpeque, Chaya, JA’O and Peacock Alley, with BonbonOm coming soon. Conrad’s are Maratea, Ukai, Kengai, Ultramar, Chiringuito Crudo and Chiringuito Leña. Autor at the Conrad sits inside the Ceiba Club access set.
How Existing Bookings Are Handled
Hilton honours existing Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya reservations on the plan and terms confirmed at booking. One carve-out applies. A booking that includes guests under 18 with an arrival date on or after 10 January 2027 falls outside those terms, and the resort will work with each guest to find alternative accommodation. Hilton honours existing Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya reservations on the terms confirmed at booking.
The Two Dates Guests Ask About
1 October 2026 is the date the rate changed. 10 January 2027 is the date the Waldorf turns adults-only and the Conrad restricts Ceiba Club to guests aged 18 and over. The Points Guy reported at publication that nightly rates were unavailable on the Hilton site while pricing moved to the new model.
The Portfolio Context
The Points Guy records the Riviera Maya pair as the first Waldorf Astoria and Conrad properties to become all-inclusive resorts. Hilton runs 28 brands with more than 9,400 properties and nearly 1.4 million rooms in 144 countries and territories. Waldorf Astoria holds 40 properties, and Conrad holds 51 across five continents.
