The block and the race Saturday
The CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K run Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026. General registration for all in-person distances is sold out, and limited charity entries remain.
The organiser holds guest rooms at 14 downtown properties. The inventory window runs Nov. 5 to Nov. 9 at 13 of them and from Nov. 3 at The Westin Indianapolis.
A search on the block site for the race Saturday, Nov. 7 to Nov. 8, returned rooms at nine properties. Starting rates ran from $173 at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown to $251 at the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis. Availability moves by night, and a longer stay returns a shorter list.
17 percent on every record, a $1 fee on four
All 14 property records carry the same headline. Rates exclude 17 percent tax.
Omni Severin Hotel, Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre, The Westin Indianapolis and Staybridge Suites phrase it as state and local taxes currently at 17 percent, subject to change.
Four records add a per-night district fee of $1. Embassy Suites Indianapolis Downtown names a Downtown Destination Fee of $1.00 per night, with 17 percent applied. Hilton Indianapolis Hotel & Suites names a $1 EED fee plus tax. Hyatt Regency Indianapolis names a Downtown District Fee of $1 per night plus tax. Hyatt Place Indianapolis Downtown names the $1 Economic Enhancement District Fee and states it is also taxable. Crowne Plaza Indianapolis Downtown Union Station carries a City/District Fee line without a figure.
On the race Saturday's lowest starting rate of $173, 17 percent adds $29.41 a night. On the $251 rate it adds $42.67. Each record states its rates and fees are subject to change.
The booking clock closes in three steps
Sept. 29 is the deadline to assign guest occupant names to rooms held under one name. Oct. 8 is the deadline to cancel without penalty, and a $25 fee attaches to each reservation cancelled after Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026. That fee equals 14.5 percent of the race Saturday's lowest starting rate. Reservations cancelled or no-shows after Oct. 22, 2026, are charged by the hotel.
Oct. 5 through Oct. 16 is the window to make a new reservation or add nights, with the date varying by hotel and subject to availability. Online booking closes Oct. 16. Oct. 22 is the last day to modify an existing reservation through the Visit Indy Housing Bureau, and after that date the guest contacts the hotel directly.

The Saturday that sets the front desk
Race morning runs on four published clocks. Gear check opens at 6:30 a.m. at Washington Street and West Street. The half marathon and the marathon start at 8 a.m., the 5K starts at 8:40 a.m., and the course closes at 3:30 p.m.
The 6:30 a.m. gear check window opens 90 minutes ahead of the 8 a.m. gun and nine hours ahead of the 3:30 p.m. close.
Packet pickup splits across two days at the Indiana Convention Center. Thursday, Nov. 5, runs 4 to 7 p.m., and Friday, Nov. 6, runs 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. A participant collects the official clear gear check bag inside one of those windows, and race morning accepts that bag alone.
The venue dates its own expo page to Nov. 6 alone, in Exhibit Hall A-B, with a forecast attendance of 20,000.
The arrival nights the clocks set
Expo doors at 4 p.m. Thursday hold the Thursday night. The Friday window runs to 8 p.m. and holds the Friday night. The 6:30 a.m. gear check puts a guest on property the night before the race.
The block page states no nightly rate. The rate appears once the dates are entered on the block site, and the rates above were read on 25 September 2026.
