IHG One Rewards opened a rate called Stay 3 Nights, Pay 2 – Suites & Premium Rooms. Bookings close on 30 September 2026. Stays run from 4 September 2026 to 30 June 2027, both dates included.
The terms below come from the promotion text that Traveling For Miles published on 16 September 2026. That transcription carries the offer wording, the eligibility rules and the booking conditions.
What the rate pays for
A member books a minimum of three consecutive nights at one participating hotel and pays for two. The third night is complimentary. Daily breakfast for up to two guests per room sits inside the rate. IHG One Rewards membership is free.
The rate applies to suites and premium room types.
The comp nights accumulate
Six consecutive nights at one property pay for four. Nine consecutive nights pay for six. The maximum stay under the promotion is 30 nights, and a participating hotel may set a shorter ceiling.
The booking conditions
The full stay must sit on one reservation. Unused nights do not carry to another booking.
Bookings run at least three days before check-in. The rate must be booked through the IHG website, the IHG app, an IHG reservation centre or a participating hotel.
A reservation may be amended or cancelled up to three days before check-in without penalty, unless the hotel advises otherwise. A cancellation inside 72 hours of arrival draws a fee equal to the first night's room rate on the card given at booking. A no-show draws the same fee.
Where the rate applies
The terms list Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, French Polynesia, Vanuatu, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Maldives, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, Guam, Saipan, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Greater China.
The brands listed are Regent, InterContinental, Kimpton, Vignette Collection, Hotel Indigo, Crowne Plaza, voco, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express and Holiday Inn branded resort properties.
The discount builds on the flexible rate
The rate is built from IHG's best flexible rate, the price a property publishes for a changeable booking. A traveller comparing the offer with an advance-purchase rate can find the effective saving smaller than a third.
The checks a property runs
Pull the rate up beside the property's own best flexible price and its advance-purchase price. The gap between the two decides what the offer costs in room revenue.
Count the breakfast covers the rate adds. Breakfast for two guests sits in the rate on the paid nights and on the complimentary night.
Set the maximum-stay ceiling the terms allow. A property that wants a shorter limit can publish one.
Confirm the cancellation window in the rate code against the property's own policy. The terms carry the three-day rule, and the hotel's own advice overrides it.
Traveling For Miles reports that a search on the main IHG.com site did not surface the Stay 3 Nights, Pay 2 option, and the article directs readers to the sale page. That is the author's own search experience. A property that wants the rate visible can check its own booking path on IHG.com, in the app and through the reservation centres.
