Marriott Bonvoy pays 2,000 bonus points for every night booked on the Courtyard 2K Everyday rate plan. The reservation must carry promotional code 53M. The Gate reported the plan on 16 October 2026 and names Courtyard by Marriott as the original participant in the United States and Canada.
The Gate's report adds three brands to the set: Four Points by Sheraton, AC Hotels and Fairfield by Marriott. One outlet carries that list. A Google News sweep over the last 30 days returned no second report of the expansion, and marriott.com served the promotion page as unavailable to a signed-out request.
Window and terms the desk prices against
The plan was scheduled to close on Monday 16 February 2026 and now runs through Wednesday 30 June 2027. Both dates match their weekdays on a calendar check.
The published terms carry the controls to check first. One regular room per stay, per member. Groups of ten or more rooms are excluded. Advance reservation is required. Tax is additional. The plan does not combine with other offers, and blackout dates apply. Members who elect airline miles instead of points do not qualify.
The rate gap the bonus has to cover
The Gate priced two nights at the Courtyard Cartersville for a 4 August 2026 check-in and a 6 August checkout. The promotional rate read 256 dollars a night including taxes and fees. The standard member rate began at 229 dollars, a prepaid rate at 210 dollars and a breakfast-inclusive rate at 246 dollars.
That put the premium at 46 dollars a night against the prepaid rate, 27 dollars against the member rate and 10 dollars against the breakfast rate. Two nights at the widest gap cost 92 dollars and earned 4,000 bonus points, which reads 2.30 cents per point.
Marriott sells points at 12.50 dollars per 1,000, or 1.25 cents each. The Gate priced one property on one set of dates and states the premium varies by property.
A property runs the same comparison against its own flexible rate for the dates in question. The premium at the property is what the plan costs the house.
The code page returns unavailable
A request to marriott.com/loyalty/promotion.mi?promotion=53M redirects to /loyalty/promotionUnavailable.mi?promotion=53M. That page reads: Sorry, this promotion is not available. It lists three possible reasons. The member may not be eligible. The promotion may have expired. The member may be opening a miles promotion with a points-earning preference.
That page tests the code against a signed-in member. A signed-out request does not settle eligibility for any given booking.
Checks before the desk quotes it
Confirm the code sits on the property's rate plan. Confirm the brand set against the brands the property sells. Confirm the 30 June 2027 end date against the chain's own plan record. Confirm the group and miles exclusions against the stay in hand.
LoyaltyLobby documented the same plan on 29 April 2022 under the title Marriott Bonvoy Courtyard 2K Everyday Rate Plan For Americas. The Gate reports that the offer once covered hotels in the Caribbean and Latin America. The current terms name the United States and Canada.
