Marriott Bonvoy pays 8 Bonvoy points for every eligible US dollar spent through its Eat Around Town dining programme from 1 October to 31 October 2026. The programme covers dine-in and takeout orders at more than 20,000 participating restaurants and bars. The member pays with a credit or debit card linked to an Eat Around Town account at the time of the visit.
The rate applies to all enrolled Marriott Bonvoy members. Enrolment in both Marriott Bonvoy and Eat Around Town is required.
The rate that returns on 1 November
The standard rate returns on 1 November 2026. Members then earn 4 Bonvoy points per eligible dollar. Members with Elite status earn 6 points per eligible dollar. Marriott names five Elite tiers for the higher rate: Ambassador, Titanium, Platinum, Gold and Silver.
Eligible charges cover food, drink, tax and tip as charged to the linked card. Orders placed through third-party ordering or delivery sites earn nothing. Points post to the Bonvoy account six to eight weeks after the transaction. Eat Around Town points do not count toward elite tier qualification.
Up to 6,000 bonus points for new members
The New Member Bonus pays up to 6,000 Bonvoy points across a member's first three qualifying visits. The first visit pays 1,000 points, the second 2,000 and the third 3,000. Each qualifying visit requires a single dine-in or takeout order of 30 dollars or more paid with a linked card.
All three visits must fall within 60 days of creating a dining profile. The member completes an online review of the restaurant within 30 days of each visit. The member also remains opted in to Eat Around Town emails with a valid, deliverable address for the length of the campaign.
The bonus is capped at 6,000 points and may be earned once per member. Marriott allows one qualifying visit per restaurant per day. Its terms state that each qualifying visit applies to a single bonus, and the offer does not combine with other Eat Around Town bonuses. Account inquiries about the bonus must reach the programme by 5 April 2027.
A new member creates a web login and links a valid card by 5 January 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern time. Marriott opened that enrolment window on 1 January 2023.
How the programme works
Marriott lists six steps. A member joins Eat Around Town with a Bonvoy member number and links a debit or credit card. The member searches for a restaurant or bar, dines in or orders takeout, and pays with the linked card. The member earns 8 points for every eligible dollar spent and repeats the process for the rest of the month.
What a venue sets, and what a hotel team checks
Venues set their own terms inside the offer. Marriott's page states that some restaurants pay rewards on certain days of the week only, some cap the number of qualifying visits a month, and some cap the spend that earns. Marriott publishes the current rewards calendar at eataroundtown.marriott.com.
The offer is not transferable, is not valid for groups and does not combine with other select offers. Marriott states that the terms are subject to change. Rewards Network Establishment Services Inc. operates the programme and holds the copyright notice on the Eat Around Town pages.
A member who spends 100 dollars on a qualifying dine in October earns 800 Bonvoy points. The same spend on 1 November earns 400 points. An Elite member earns 600 points on that November spend.
